Choose a song of Coldplay

Featured Replies

If you had to choose only ONE song of Coldplay - not your favourite one, but a song which you consider that describes you well - I mean your thoughts, ideas, way of being -

which one would you choose?

ps - I think there isn't another thread about that here in this forum... so, if I'm wrong, I'm sorry!

deffinetly.. ladder to the sun

now, I have to choose "THE HARDEST PART"

Hmmm a Coldplay song that describes me and my personality...tough one...

I think Warning Sign would have to be in there for various reasons. How You See The World Number 2 because it is fairly political like me. Swallowed In The Sea because of unrequited love. One I Love because it pumps me up for anything. Clocks would be there too because it shouts and calls and declares itself boldy and intentionally like me.

But just one??? I think Amsterdam.

Warning Sign would be that song.... it's just too beautiful. But in other cases could be I ran away.

Though I love Clocks, the song that describes my perfect is The Scientist, 'cause I'm always thinking in so much things and I leave the love in the forgetfulness.

But to choose only one is too hard, and if it was about inside myself, A Message. I feel my heart is made of stone. Atenea_Brit

Er.... Things I Don't Understand...?

For me it's probably Fix You, The Scientist, and Shiver. But out of the three, I guess I would pick Fix You.....

"When you try your best but you don't succeed (Story of my life!!), when you get what you want but not what you need (Me again!!)...when you love someone but it goes to waste (sadly..yes, it's happened to me), could it be worse?"

Wow, this is hard...the only song that comes to mind is God Put A Smile Upon Your Face. That one line "where do we go- nobody knows" describes me perfectly cause i have no idea what im going to do next. Oh, and i also have "style and grace" hahaha

fix you, swallowed in the sea, yellow and in my place

hmm...god put a smile upon your face..? cause theres always smile upon my face:D if im happy sad or angry...i dont know why...im just smiling..:D

but now im choosing Proof...:)

Amsterdam.

I like the bit when it says "I swerve out of control, If I, if I only waited I'd not be stuck here in this hole." It describes me well

Also I love the intro, which sound like water, which I've always been facinated with and I love the melodic Piano playing which sounds very calm and laid back like me!

I also like the ending and the way Amsterdam builds into the final few verses, it builds up slowly and gradually.

It suits my personality well.

many songs but mostly dont panic and the hardest part.

id have to say amsterdam... especailly because of the line "i know im dead on the surface, but i am screaming underneath"

and the end is just perfect :)

square one

How You See The World Number 2 because it is fairly political like me. Swallowed In The Sea because of unrequited love. One I Love because it pumps me up for anything. Clocks would be there too because it shouts and calls and declares itself boldy and intentionally like me.

It's spooky how similar my answer would be to yours, Ted :stunned:

But if I have to wittle it down to just one, i'd definatley say Politik, without a doubt.
