had sooo much fun watching this game! had a really hard time handeling the presure at the last 20 min though, my god the tense.

I hope FIFA take note of events today. My only bugbear of international football these days is the theatrical fouls, diving, feigning injury that took place tonight. I almost turned the TV off. Shame on the football governing body tonight :\

Feel priviliged to have watched the dirtiest game in FIFA World Cup Finals history...the score just went out the window and sadly it became a farce. As soon as it became apparent that Mr Ivanov was gonna book anyone for a minor-ish foul then the players started to throw themselves around like crazy...it is a problem in our beloved game.

i am not a football fan and even i was suffering while watching tv in the second part!!!!!! GO PORTUGAL!!!!!

I think the officials on both matches today were absolutely ridculous!!! And I' not bitter from our loss either lol England really had control of the ball the entire match... but, yes.. the officials were bonkers.

yeah... that's the proof of fair-play from both teams in my opinion... it was a tough and quite hard game... both teams are very good and wanted to win... I think the referee gave a hard time to himself showing cards all the time and for everything... the players got nervous ( wouldn't you!?)

 

well, I suffered a lot myself while watching the match...

i couldn't even watch any of the matches! my tv just scrambled the channel few 2 minutes before the match even began!!!! but it must have been one good match...i guess it was funny too

it all started with Holland and the way they played at the beginning. i think their tactic was to break Ronaldo's, Figo's and Deco's legs. they were successfull with Ronald.

After that everyone lost their head. Portugal was winning and tried to win time, holland didn't give the ball when it belonged to the Portuguese team. The ref gave yellow cards for everything... and so on.

 

At the end it won the best team.

Holand had more players most of the time but it was a team without creativity.

I'm sure it wasn't the best match... far from it... but I think you shouldn't complain... you saw a wonderful goal, and some great moments of football... agressive game yes but not as violent as Turkey- Switzerland for sure!!!

No - it wasn't only the ref's fault. The players who got sent off acted like idiots and so deserved to be sent off for "stupidity" if not anything else.

The handball for the first sending off was ridiculously "stupid" of the player concerned, and Deco was an idiot for not returning the ball. The players should have made sure they were aware of the rules!!;)

i wasn't a player in Turkey - Switzerland match so it has nothing to do with me:) i am just talking about this match and i couldn't see any great moments of football as i saw in other matches..

Deco didn't return the ball... that's true. But Holland didn't return the ball more than once when they ball belonged to Portugal. That's something called fair Play in my book. The first Deco's yellow card we had a man down and the ball belonged to Portugal
