I wonder how I could take a picture of some of my videoclips. I'm currently using the Win Med Player version 10 and I have checked the settings but I haven't found any option related with that... (or I may miss it)

 

Should I download another music program or there is any option in it for taking a specific picture of the vid?

Like a screenshot of a still frame in a video? Well I highly reccomend using Media Player Classic. It is made to look like the old WMP 6.4, but it is modern and has lots of features. It a lot let bulky than WMP and is easier to use.

 

To take a picture of a video, go File>Save Image.

And Media Player Classic can play real media files when you download real alternative. Very useful if you have to watch/listen to real files without having that pile of shit called real player installed.

Thats alright. And as Dave S mentioned, you are able to watch Real files if you install Real Aternative. This means that you won't need Real Player at all. Also, you can install Quicktime Alternative and you can play quicktime files without needing to use quicktime.

Although if you have iTunes they bundle QuickTime with it.
