Are there any fans on this board?? I've been a fan since she first came out and i have all her albums. Just thought you guys should know about this canadian songstress.

Chantal Kreviazuk is great! She's married to the singer of my favorite Canadian band, and her music is good.

Does anyone else like this underrated multitalented Canadian singer/somgwriter/pianist/guitarist? She has some of the most beautiful, emotional and sometimes sad music I've ever heard. Hits include Surrounded, Before You and In This Life. At least, those are the only ones I've heard on the radio.

 

She's also married to Raine Maida :D

 

Also, if anyone has any piano sheets for her music, that would be great. ^_^

I only know about three songs by her, but her voice is amazing!

I liked her...back in the day. She's still cool. She's popping out babies like there's no tomorrow.

How many babies do they have?

Well, they had one like just last year, but she's already due to give birth to their second like really soon.

She's really cool and I'm really obsessed with her husband :D

Their second was born on June 3rd, named Lucca.

So Chantal's new album "Ghost Stories" came out on August 29th and it just arrived here like 2 days ago, so I've been listening to it quite a bit. Not too bad, but not as good as I expected. Some standout tracks include Wonderful, the surprisingly brilliant Asylum (which is basically my favorite song by her now), Ghosts of You and All I Can Do. I don't think it's quite as single-loaded as What If It All Means Something, but overall it's better, imo.

 

Anyone else here heard anything from it yet?
