Sleeping in the public transport

Featured Replies

Well, just thought today about doing this thread while I was falling asleep in the bus that takes me to Uni... which takes like 1/2 hour.

I really don't know what is it but most of the time I do this journey I feel like sleeping for a while! and I do... but when I get back home or arrive to uni I feel again totally awake.

Do you also feel asleep in those situations? just wondering.

If I'm really tired on a train.

Or really tired on a coach, but that isn't public transport though.

no, I can't. I need absolute stillness for sleeping and I don't like other people to see me sleeping even my parents. I'm weird, I know it! :freak:

During the last winter, when I had to wake up to go to the bus station at 6.15 am

I felt like falling asleep, but good thing that I have not.

i don't like falling asleep in a bus or train but sometimes i'm just way too tired to stay awake +.+

just like yesterday ... uggghh

I used to live further from school than I do now so I had a 1 hour trip at 6.30, which is the perfect time for sleeping on a bus. Seriously, I would fall asleep as soon as I got a seat and wake up 2 minutes after my stop. I also like sleeping during the PE classes - home bus ride, but I haven't done it because it's a shame waking up and having 30 people looking at your mouth fully open (if not drooling)

i felt tired when i came back from school by bus during this year so sometimes i closed my eyes for awhile but i'm glad i didn't fall asleep....

my cousin fells asleep a lot in public transport and because of that somebody stole from her 2 mobile phones :(

i was like 8 or something and i rode the train with my dad i was extremely tired.

I want more stories...

I sleep, or well actually is not like sleeping! just half connected and half not... is strange. Btw, I keep my mouth closed.

Daily I spend about 3 hours in the public transport.... I sleep maybe 2 hours :D

going with the bus is sooo boring.. and when I'm coming home after a whole day at the Uni, I'm so tired that I sometimes fall asleep at the bus stop. :D

Maybe it's so because I sleep only a few hours in the night..

i used to fall asleep on the bus that took me to school in the mornings cuz i was the first stop, so i always had a lot of time. i fell asleep on a subway in NY too, my parents had to wake me up. :\

My mum's friend fell asleep on the last train home...noone told her to get off....then she woke up and the train was being washed in a car-wash kinda thing for trains....she had to stay on it and bang on the windows to someone outside lol!!! I think they had to take the train back into the station just for her to get off.. :uhoh:

Here is really difficult that you could sleep in a bus,(we do not have trains, booo to that).

The only bus you could sleep are one with air conditioning.

Once i fall asleep in the bus when I was comming home from my schooll... and the busdriverr stop t in front of my home and he woke up me! hahaha  he said something like that" gilr, u have to wakw up! I i felt so embarrased!:embarassed: hehe

yes I knoww, its weird, but i live far away from downtown and when the bus is near my home there is not a lot of ppl in there!

I always feel like sleeping when im in the busss! its so extrange! but when I arrive home I feel awakw again!
