X&Y South East Asia Tour Edition

Featured Replies

Yeah I came across this at CircuitCity today... the cover had a pic of the band and it's got all of X&Y on disc 1 (the back said White Shadow instead of White Shadows for track 3 hmm) and then it's got a DVD with Speed of Sound, Fix You and Talk's B-Sides as well as all of the singles videos.

When did this come out and does anyone have it?

Yeah, the "X&Y Tour Edition" was released in Australia and "South Asia." The material is the same, but the sleeve artwork is different between the two. Also, the "South Asian" editions were released both with and without an OBI. Whether it's packaged with one will depend upon the country of purchase (Singapore - No OBI) (Taiwan - OBI). It was also released in Japan; I'm assuming it's the same as the Taiwan issue, but will know better once my promo copy arrives in the post.

I have it. It says White Shadow on the CD tray liner AND on the sleeve. It really pisses me off.

is there any chance you could upload the videos in DVD quality? of just talk and the hardest part?

I just stumbled upon this tonight and decided to buy it - if only for the videos, it's great to have them in dvd form.

your Right... it does say White Shadow

I hadnt really noticed that before.

But there is 2 versions of the East Asia Tour Edition

1 version for Asian market with Philippino wrighting on the front cover

& then the same set made for export to USA all in English.

never saw the East Asian. there are several South Asian. You recommend any shops for the east asian?

Well actually its the south east Asia Version

so we are both wrong :P

I always see the SEA version in stores (because I live in SEA, duh) and tempted to get it BUT I have the X&Y album and not too keen and well, I don't know. :\

don't forget about the Japanese release too! Looks just like the release of the X&Y record. comes w/an OBI. the Taiwan and Singapore releases have nicer art than the Japanese, B&W slipcase. one w and one w/o and OBI. The Aussie Tour release is the nicest lookng though...i think anyway.

Yeah ... i think the Aussie Version is the nicer of all those you mentioned too.

but this is the one i still search for

Nite ....

Sorry.what is the mean of "OBI"?

I always see it in the shops too, but I don't think I want to buy it just for the DVD of the 4 videos (which I'm not too crazy about to start with)... but with a price like RM39.90 for CD+DVD thing, I can't say I'm not tempted...

I just found this today at HMV (thank God for the only cd store in the city that will even attempt to get imports!!! :) )

It was a really nice surprise... I was just going in to pick up The Hardest Part single... and there this was ... sitting on the shelf ... wahoo... that's a good day, my friends :D

I've got the South east Asia edition. I don't know why i bought it, but i have it :D

I thought they'd have little promo like videos on the DVD for the b-sides. Because I know there is one for Things I Don't Understand, I have it on my myspace. So I was slightly disappointed to pay $28 for a cd I already have, b-sides I already have and film clips I have on video. But you just have to have it anyway don't you...lol.

To tell the truth I prefer the original X&Y cover art. That's a beautiful cover.
