imn going to get tattoo soon as get some money

i think having a small tatto or two is quite nice. And it is something u REALLy need to think through before u get it, because unlike peircings which u can remove you're stuck with your tattoo forever.

I say- dont get anything too big or too noticable that u cant hide somehow. And also dont get it in a place u cant hide, in some work places you're not allowed to show tattoos so say u get one on your hand youd have to walk around with sleeves all the time.

or girls getting on their legs, u wouldnt be able to walk with knee long skirts/pants

 

so, it is really something to think about...but i think i would get one someday, i think it's pretty and if you're sure about it than just do it!

i'd really love to get a tattoo that says "Jahwe" in hebrew on my ankle...

still gotta wait for it to happen though...2 years and a few days..

I want a tatoo so bad but my mom got one about a year ago and she said it hurt like hell.

And I still don't know what I want. Maybe a Coldplay or Yeah Yeah Yeahs lyric, but like Grace said, it does seem pretty senseless.

 

But once during school my friend and I were writing on each other. We were writing our favorite lyrics on each other. She wrote Thursday and Say Anything lyrics on me (blech!) and she wouldn't let me write and Coldplay or YYY on her so I said, "I'll just write it on myself!" Anyway, this one YYY song goes, "CHOKE CHOKE CHOKE" so I wrote "CHOKE" on my wrist and it looked pretty good. :stunned:

mhh... "choke"...might seem weird to people who don't know what it's supposed to mean. :stunned:

however... lyrics are not always senseless in case they really mean something to you.

but i don't have any favourite line of a song that i want on my body.

a class mate of mine has those really cheesy chinese signs on her back. they're huge and they say "luck", "love", "family" and all that crap.

and another class mate of mine has a trible (which is even crooked). very 90's...

in germany we call those tribals on the lower back 'ass antlers'...

And yeah, I was walking around the rest of the day with "CHOKE" in big black letters on my arm and people were like :o

my sister's got a (cliché) fairy on her lower back.

so... there's not much creativity in my family.

You can get a tatoo when your 16 right?...you just have to get your parents' permission. Ugh. But at my school we're not allowed to have visible tatooos, but I could always cover it up with makeup...

your schol does not allow you to have (visible) tattoos? why's that?

 

no, you can get a tattoo even before you turn 16. people i know got theirs when they were 12. :dozey:

Well, in my school we can't have visible tatoos because it's against the dress code. So is dying your hair an unnatural color, like blue or green. And we also can't have any visible peircings anywhere besides the ears.

those are some tough rules...

well, everyone's got either their nose, belly button or tongue pierced (except for me of course). and they do have blue or green hair here. mh... gotta admit that i used to have pink hair end. +___+ probably part of my "hey-y'all-look-at-me-i-need-attention" phase

and yeah, let's say those people who got their tattoos at the age of 12 are kinda...you know...erm...antisocial. :dozey:

i would never get a tattoo, only because i can't bear the thought of having someting permanently stuck to me that i can't get rid of (without surgery that is). i'm less reluctant to piercings, but tattoos, don't think so, although i frequently consider it.

mhh... piercings are even worse in my opinion.

yeah, sure you can take them out any time, but they often leave scars. like if you get your eyebrow pierced or something.

AND most piercings are visible..

i think i'd rather get a piercing coz you can take it out whenever you want. but if you have a tatoo, it's forever.

I want my nose pierced when I get older, but just a stud, not anything flashy. And I think I want a tatoo. But something small and somewhere it can be hidden. I'm thinking some sort of design that has a special meaning, but I would have to think long and hard before I get one...We'll see
