April 9, 200917 yr i hope this album delivers. this could be there chance to make it big in Europe and UK. everyone down here had their hopes on Wolfmother doing big things but they just imploded. John Butler has done awesome stuff everywhere but doesnt have the commercial marketable feel of Eskimo Joe. for people just discovering this awesome pop rock band. i recommend some of their older stuff, it has a more unique raw feel to it. Older Than You (my favourite) From The Sea (break through song) Liar (from their debut record back in 2001) Sweater (a fan favourite and has a very different sound) Smoke New album is called Inshalla. Released on 29 May. havent heard any news of international release.
April 9, 200917 yr Nope, not yet in Belgium :\ We are a sloooooooow country. I found a link to the Australian store on their website, but I can't pay there with my credit card. But never mind, thank God for MySpace :D He, the Singapore store doesn't sell music? What do they sell then? Movies and apps? Yeah amazingly they don't sell music!!! What's the bloody use of an iTunes store with no music????? Only apps
April 12, 200917 yr I am pretty sure Foreign Land is only out in the Australian store, i looked! it is very sad, i really want it on my iTunes! but i found these guys out 2 years ago when they played LiveEarth I watched the Auzzie one first and they were on. i've been hooked since! :)
April 17, 200917 yr Well, they shipped the EP to me yesterday, guess I have to wait about a week to receive it. Patience :dozey:
April 19, 200917 yr Anyone caught the video for Foreign Land which premiered on Weekend Sunrise this morning??? I'm trying to search for it on YT but I don't think it's there.
April 20, 200917 yr I saw it on YouTube this morning, but now it seems to be removed. Weird  Hope it's up again soon!
April 20, 200917 yr Apparently those who watched the entire weekend morning show said they didn't see it at all!!! Strange, no??? :inquisitive:
April 22, 200917 yr i saw it on a music channel this morning. they look like a big rock band now haha. very fancy looking video clip with weird special effects everywhere.

April 23, 200917 yr Thursday 30 July - Hordern Pavilion, Sydney NSW (All ages) Hmm... I think I'm in the country. Could possibly go. Didn't the perform at the Ent Cent last time? HP is such a shit venue.
April 23, 200917 yr  I'm still torn between going for Sydney or Fremantle. Flights to Perth are so much cheaper, but I have a marathon back home the day after the Fremantle show. But Sydney tickets are far more expensive  So it's either I fork out more money or I miss my race. Given that I'm going to be unemployed pretty soon, I think the choice is obvious :\
April 23, 200917 yr i'm pretty sure this will be only one of 2 or 3 tours around australia of different sizes. if the album does very very well then we can expect a few shows at larger venues sometime next year but right now venues like Hordern Paviliion are perfect for the band. surprised to see that they opted to be supported by NOVA radio as opposed to triple j who have been with the band for about 8 years now. but like i said in a previous post they're a big rock band now and its time to make some real money.
May 6, 200917 yr Got my tickets on Monday. OH YEAH!!!! And 55 bucks each, freaking bargain. And large venues SUCK!!!!!!! Sorry, personal opinion. on another note, COLDPLAY HAVE PLAGIARIZED AGAIN!!!! Check it, below!! Looks a lot like the album cover for Inshalla, which was announced a long time ago! LOL
May 6, 200917 yr LOL. What about Buckcherry then? I got my tickets to Freo last Thursday, I should receive it say tomorrow or Friday in the mail
May 6, 200917 yr Shit, that's even worse. Inshalla does look pretty good, though. Yeah waiting for mine in the mail. Did you get the CD/Ticket combo or just the Ticket?
May 7, 200917 yr Not related- but in Oklahoma, this is what Eskimo Joe`s means:) http://www.eskimojoes.com
May 7, 200917 yr Haahahha :laugh3: The band supposedly decided on their name after seeing someone wear an Eskimo Joe's shirt :P
May 7, 200917 yr I`ve got a closet full- shirts, hoodies/sweats/shorts....though for me I only wear them like, on laundry day:laugh3: but they do tend to travel the world, I have noticed them in the most random far away places!
May 7, 200917 yr Well if I ever visit Oklahoma, I'm going to make a trip down to the restaurant :D What is good to eat there?
May 7, 200917 yr So indeed, I got my ticket this afternoon  Hmmm.... I ordered my ticket at 9am on mon when they went on sale, maybe mine might come through tomorrow.
May 7, 200917 yr Well if you do ever make it to Oklahoma- lemme know and you will be my guest! I have only ever had the Ribeye steak, and on my second visit, I had a chef salad with smoked chicken, and a side of onion rings. The food is good, it`s a real college town party atmosphere.:D I could pick you up a tshirt and send if you`d like:thinking::)
