Maybe you can combine your trip to Germany with a visit to Belgium? Then I can finally buy you that beer to thank you for sending me Inshalla

Hahaha sounds like a good plan! :D

You met them before?

Yeah that would be great!

I've met them before too, but not quite as epic as Sirhc's story!

Last year they were playing in Brussels and after the concert they came into the bar for a drink, and I had the chance to talk with them and take some pictures. They are so nice, I love them since :wacky:

Ooooh that's awesome :D

RECENT NEWS:

Hi everyone, Stu here.

It's been a little quiet on the website of late, and indeed quiet in our touring schedule. We've been taking a break for the last few weeks, which has been great to recharge the batteries. We'll be hitting the road again on the 10th of May, heading for Europe. We play Amsterdam on the 12th; Brighton, England on the 14th; Dublin on the 15th; London on the 17th. Should be a great little whirlwind tour, and great to get back over there to see y'all. I've had many excited emails about the gigs, so get ready to rock and roll. Also worth celebrating is the release of Inshalla in the Netherlands. It's now available, and thanks to all our Dutch friends, it's selling like hotcakes. So grab a copy and study up before the show.

"Setting Sun", a song from our Black Fingernails, Red Wine album, has been chosen for the new Miley Cyrus movie, The Last Song. The response from our song on the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack being such a smash, we're thinking this whole soundtrack thing is a good way to get our music out there.

We're also currently in the process of acquiring a space to build a new recording studio for the next album. We'll keep you updated with progress. Looking forward to swinging a hammer and getting our hands dirty with that one.

All exciting stuff.

So, we'll see y'all soon.

Peace to you all,

stu

p.s. Kav's lil' "side project", Basement Birds, is now live and kickin' - check it out http://www.basementbirds.com.au

Woooo! They're recording again soon!

I have, much better than Inshalla, it flows and has great tunes on it. Echo and Itch are among my favorites!

It brings back lots of elements from Black Fingernails....definitely worth getting

I'm wondering if it's worth a shot or not. I didn't get much into Inshalla and the two singles off this album are just awful. Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

When We Were Kids wasn't a good lead. Echo and Itch are good and remind me of BFRW, I just downloaded it - going to buy it when I can get the chance here...

I liked it as a whole, much less jumpy and less scattered as Inshalla. Personally, I like a lot of the songs off of Inshalla, it just doesn't sound like Eskimo Joe

First listen I thought...not impressed. But, its a grower, some great Esky tunes on there, throwbacks to earlier albums. Its worth sticking with

I've given it a few listens and I think it's definitely a grower! :)
