The best Australian band around today! ('cept maybe Wolfmother).

 

Are these guys even heard of outside Australia? Coz if they aren't someone deserves a smacking.

 

The first album I haven't listened to, I heard it is more in the punk direction, weird.

Second is quite nice, very innocent.

And the new one is just...... woah:stunned:

well maybe it's because i am in loveeeeeee with the drummer. he is sex, boy is he sex or what.

 

anyway the point of my post is that;

my brother saw them on friday night... and he doesn't even like them that much (he's not a rock person except for stuff like queen and other old stuff, apart from that hes rnb) yeah so he had a work party at the roxy, and then eskimo joe was playing there the same night afterwards, so the work crew were like heck lets stay to see eskimo. and well yeah. it was over 18's and i was so pissy cos i wanted to gooooooooooooo :cry2: but he called me during from the sea so i could listen. :nice: it was absolutely beautiful...

new album coming out very very soon. i think the new single premiered on triple j this morning. havent had the chance to hear it. i'm sure ill love it. their last album turned the band into hit machines. from memory about 5 of the songs got high rotation on every radio station, quite an achievement.

I loved BFRW (album) but the new song doesn't really do much for me... so far. A few more listens should do the trick.

I loved the single first and only later did i get the album but now i love the album more than the single/

The single started its airplay on Australian radio on Monday.

Yup it was their Black Fingernails Red Wine album that got me hooked :D Was one of the best albums I've heard in a long while.
