Fighting With Friends

Featured Replies

Yesterday i had a massive fallout with one of my now ex-close friends (i hope it doesn't stay that way).

*she said something really mean to me, and there are parts of her persona that she has shown that really need to change*

but i don't want to bow into pressure calling her first as it was her fault for the whole thing and my guy friends that ive told have said the same. if i do that, nothing of use will ever happen.

and its only been a day, but it hurts so much and it is so hard giving her the cold shoulder.

has this happened to any of you?

if so any advice on what should i do?

please give me some advice people! i'm really tripping out with whole thing! seriously...

I know it is very hard, but you just have to be strong!! :)

being strong is the hardest part. especially when we go to school together. and work at the same job together. i hope it clears up...

i just dont know what to do... thanks for the advice btw rick (i'm ns if that ur name, sorry )

Me too, if you are "meant" to be friends then things will sort themselves out. Just take some time to cool down - Thats what I used to do.

so does that mean no communication? or pretend like it never happened? i'm really unsure. we've had fights before. but never to this extent...

Well...It depends on the situation. If it's over something stupid then I usually don't say much to them but if it is something really serious I try to sort it our with them in person. I haven't been in a massive fight in a while so yeah. This is just what I can remember from back in the day.

this has happened to me. sometimes you cant stay friends with people even if they were once close. if her fault she should be a good friend and apologize, otherwise she isnt worth being friends with. thas my view

im josh. :)

yeah i'll speak to her about and see what she says...

hey josh...

dont feel bad about this whole thing!!! Things will be fine!!

i fought a few months ago with my best friend and we didnt talk for like 2 weeks. The first week i just didnt want to see her or talk to her, but after that first week i really started missing her. And she did me. And what happenned was a week later we just couldnt take it anymore and hugged and made up and it only made our relationship stronger.

And that's a true friendship ;)

all friends fight from time to time... it's only natural :)

listen huntjd, i think u should try & call your friend up, coz no matter what, it's better this way, see if she still angry or not, seems that u really care about her , that u had this thread for this situation. so call her up, & everything would be more clear , i think. coz u don't know if she's not feeling the same now. and all. so it's better to talk , to see where things r between the 2 of u .

dunno if what i said now , makes sense to u or not.:P

you are on early for you... normally you dont come on for another couple hours. good to have you on. anyway i have to go for dinner. i will think about this all in the next half hour.

hey Lana!

if u think you're frustrated, maybe ill find the thread i started the night i fought with my best friend a few months back, it was called "sick and tired", and u'll see how i was. I cant believe how hard i took it

at first things always seem so horrible but things'll get better, im sure they will!!!

i always come at around this hour :)

yesterday i came late...

i hope ill be here later, bcoz i told u there's a new girl here, and i taught her the job and everything, and now i feel bad being on the net while she sits beside me and does nothing. Plus, she likes to go on her forums as well so we have to share.

Maybe i'll just stay here in my mom's office... we'll see :)

בתאבון!!!!
