That's the point. Rammstein have made it big outside Germany, but the style of music is complete sh*te. I don't think there has been any other German band which has been anywhere near as successful.

 

Kraftwerk were pioneers of the synth sound, though.

I am not talking about success....I'm talking about good music...enough examples prove that success is not the same as good music...;)

Kraftwerk own all other then, if there wasn't kraftwerk than some modern music won't exist, coldplay wouldn't have been able to sample the riff from Computer Love for Talk. True they are not the same as they were in the good-old days, but they are still one of the world's best bands.
