Alright, FINALLY I can say this - I was always afraid to say it because in times like these, where the Arctic Monkeys are "the next big thing", you get beaten up when you dare saying you don`t like them!

 

I`m not saying they`re not good, they do have some good songs and their success story over the internet is kinda impressive, but these are arrogant, cocky teenagers who became successful WAY too quickly and who are FAR away from being "down to earth"!! Alex Turner is just the best example, how old is he, 18 or something? And he thinks he`s the next John Lennon! Let`s see what their following albums sound like - make three successful albums, grow up and THEN judge a band like Coldplay!

 

I`m not mad at him for saying bad things about Coldplay, even though Chris was supporting the band right from the beginning, but I`m just sick of their arrogant, stupid behavior and their useless statements!

After they'd finished a lot of people left and didn't stay for Maximo. Their loss. Maximo were so much better. People like arctic monkeys because they're told it's cool to like them.

i find NME the main thing that made AM THE HYPE without reason, there wasn't an issue of NME this year that didn't mention AM, in at least a sentence. as for their attitude towards coldplay, the sentence against coldplay is the minor problem, but the disrespect that boys have in them after 6 months of being famous should make their parents worried.:\
