AWARD-winning comedy Extras returned to BBC2 last week and if you missed last night's episode, then have we got a treat for you.

Extras II follows Andy Millman (Ricky Gervais) as filming on his sitcom begins and he moves from background artist to being a TV face.

 

Despite his burgeoning success, Andy is still surrounded by the usual cast of idiots: his hapless best-friend Maggie (Ashley Jensen), his incompetent agent Darren Lamb (Stephan Merchant) and Barry off Eastenders.

 

Last night saw David Bowie make a guest appearance and future episodes will feature Daniel Radcliffe, Chris Martin, Ronnie Corbett and Sir Ian McKellen.
