Dems Move To Quash 1st Amendment, Assualt OnThe Constitution

whenever i tell people what Bush did to get us into Iraq....(first its "they deffinately have WMD's" to "we need to spread democracy to the world" and now it is "the war on terror") He and his cronies knew exactly what was going on there, the intel wasnt false at all, the weapons inspectors went before council and said "THEY DONT HAVE ANY WMD'S!". but we went anyways. But whenever i talk to people about that, they always say, "well Clinton lied about his affair!!"

sure he had an affair and i have lowered respect for him because of it. BUT how many innocent people and soldiers were killed because of that?? NONE. How many future catastrophes (civil war in iraq and the shiites in Iraq hooking up with Iran) did that cause? if he had said "yes i had an affair" he would have gotten a slap on the wrist. Because its a presonal matter, not a matter that gets men killed.

AND he fessed up to his mistake and put himself at the mercy of the country and congress.

But because Bush is too much of a Pussy (exscuse my french) to admit to his mistakes and lies, good american young men are being killed by the dozens every day. Not to mention the hundreds of Iraqi's. Hes too much of a whimp to admit he was wrong in waht he did, and that he manipulated the intel and blindly ignored the weapons inspectors and created this whole mess, and put himself at the mercy of the country. He deserves nothing less than impeachment.....He will be looked upon as one of the worst presidents in the history of the country none the less.

The weapons inspectors werent alowed in lots of places...bush went with a huge amount of intel from the CIA, MI6 and other intelligence agencies. With all that intel I would have made the same decision

Democrats are responisble for this too, but liberal idiots dont really want to hold those responisble for this mistake they want to play partisan politics

you wanna go after the people who messed up? Fine but go after everyone no matter what party they are in!

and its extremely ignorant to call him the worst president, its just liberal bullshit, they call every president thats not liberal the worst. We've had far worse(clinton)

Playing the partison politics blame game helps no one and only hurts the country

didn't see this one...AMEN TO THAT X A MILLION

you still stick to your "Clinton is so bad" theory....

HE DIDNT GET THOUSANDS OF OUR TROOPS KILLED OVER MANIPULATED INTEL AND LIES.

(oh and the dems that voted to go to Iraq voted on the intel that claimed "open and shut case they have WMDS and links to al queda!!") But i do admit, there are quite a few loser dems (kerry)

HE ADMITTED TO HIS PERSONAL LIE ABOUT HIS AFFAIR AND FACED THE CONSEQUENCES

WE HAD THE BIGGEST SURPLUS OF CASH AND MATERIAL DURING HIS ADMINISTRATION THAN IN ANY OTHER, SINCE BUSH JR CAME IN, WE ARE NOW IN THE LARGEST DEFICIT THAN ANY OTHER....

But i dont see how you can say dems are responsible for this as well??? who controls congress??? Republicans who controls the executive branch??? Republicans

The Dems cant get a word in even if they wanted to. Sure they vote on bills and what not, but with a Republican majority, they REALLY have no say in anything.

and never acknowledged my comment about Bush being too much of a scared little girl to fess up and take the punishment instead of letting more people die

Clinton did a bad job, he cut funding to the military, let stupid laws passed that tied our intelligence agencies hands behind their backs, didnt doa damn thing about terrorism and let Ossama go many times

He played by the polls, what was good for him and his political career and his numbers. A true politician. Well his politcs lead us into much danger with terrorism. Note the first Bush did the same and Bush Jr at the begenning did the same too.

You're stuck on the partisan politics blame game. We need to hold EVERYONE accountable for their action no matter what party. Lets go after Bush but also the Dems who have screwed up to. We will get no where if we only attack one side when both are messing up.

Dems and Repubs messed up on terrorism, ignored many threats and Bin Laden. But as Clinton being the president he takes alot of the blame for the mess we are in now. Need I remind you 911 was planned and most of the stuff was done under Clinton! the only thing really that happened was the actual attack under Bush. Lets not play partisan politics!

OK so Kim Jong-il openly admits to WMD and has threatened to set them off/ test them, he's a total nut job and his people are oppressed but Bush isn't over there "spreading democracy" or squashing a nuclear threat. Why? .....maybe because Kim Jong-il isn't sitting on top of massive oil reserves. Halliburton can't make any money in fucking Korea FFS.

i swear, oil will be the death of us. i need to find me a piece o'land with some black gold in it so i won't die.

ok Cam I am ok with wanting to hold Mr Bush accountable' date='but we should hold everyone accountable for who did this mess. Republicans and Democrats in office.[/quote']

OMG! we agree on somethin!! :uhoh: call the press!!!! :P

absofreakinloutely....

I vaguely remember that Clinton did great things for the American economy and didn't run up much of a deficit

ok Cam I am ok with wanting to hold Mr Bush accountable' date='but we should hold everyone accountable for who did this mess. Republicans and Democrats in office.[/quote']Don't you already hold them to account?

politicians in general are shite in my honesy opinion..... do I think this mess was all Clinton's fault.. no. Do I think Clinton could have done things to prevent this... maybe. I do think Bush is probably one of the... if not the, worst president this country has ever seen.

About the movie... from a theatrical standpoint... I thought it was well filmed. Cinematography was innovative and clever... but the story was just too fake for my taste... it was what it said it was.. a 'dramatization'....

Well seeing how if we invaded he'd use a nuke.

His military is much bigger and better then Irans or Iraq's and he's been preparing for war for 50 years it would be beyond stupid to attack, not when we can use political pressure to possibly solve this problem. Bush uses force you complain, he tries a peaceful solution you complain to!

So when you think military wise a attack on Korea would cost much more then Iraq with anywhere from tens of thousands of dead Americans to hundreds of thousands.

Clinton did ok with the economy BUT he screwed up on terrorism big time, like Bush.

But what pisses me off is Clinton and Bush both spied on Americans.

^ but no illegally..... Clinton didn't spy illegally..... Bush changes laws around to have his way.. in no way does he have the best intrest of the country.

besides... this thread is about the movie...... it was wack. Bottom line.

He did the same type of program Bush did, only difference no one told on him and no one said it was illegal til bush did it. So case and point Bush and Clinton did the same program, but the only difference is the media complained when Bush did it. Like i said Clinton was not a good president either.

people sure do like to complain about what a bad pres he was, but sure did enjoy the luxuries of his era alot. People take what he did for the country for granted.

to judge a persident you must also look at his long term effects. Terrorism being clintons and The first Bush's.

I dont take what he did for my nation for granted, he did ok at best with the economy but set us up for a horrible terrorist attack and let al qaeada get way too strong. his bad by far outweighs his good.

he didnt just blindly ignore terrorism, he fired cruise missiles into afghanistan trying to take out bin laden, you act as though he never did anything about it? he tried, but he didnt go and invade a country that had nothing to do with it. He and Bush senior were very good presidents. The president works for the people, he is the representative of the people, and if the people are happy, then he did his job

Yes firing a few cruis missiles did NOTHING. didnt stop anything, or get any terrorist. thus a waste of time.

He had 3 chances to get Bin Laden and didnt want to because it would make HIM look bad, his poltical career was more important then national security!

All he did was fires a few cruise missiles, it did not help or hurt anyone. It did nothing at all. We now have a huge terrorist threat to face because Bush sr and Clinton did nothing but fire a few useless cruise missiles into a country. Not to mention the funding he cut to the CIA, FBI, NSA.

yeah great president:rolleyes: , caused a recession, didnt do anything about terrorism, let technology secrets go to China...man he was amazing.

haha you are talking about technology going to china, in the last 5 years more jobs, workers, and technology has gone to china than that of probably 4 other presidents combined.

There is no more of a threat today than there was yesterday or before that, the terror alert is the only thing Bush has at this point, he raises it whenever something bad happens for him or whenever he feels the dems are gaining footing. Fear is the only thing he has going for him. There was one big attack on america since pearl harbor, Bin laden could never in his wildest dreams believed he was going to DESTROY the towers. He would have killed a few hundred had they not been destroyed (not saying that is insignificant but alot less than 3,000)

And like i said, if the people are happy and still are happy with the job he did, then thats all that matters, people agree, he was a good president. Has bush jr done ANYTHING at all for the benifit of the country?? we have gained nothing, we have lost FAR more than we could ever gain.

he cut funding to the CIA, wow, alot better than cutting funding for social programs to fuel a war that has no end or point.

He had one flaw, and that was that he couldnt nab Bin Laden, he tried, maybe not as hard as he should have, but he wasnt a real large threat at that time. Other than that, he was a good president and his popularity shows. People say "all he did was care about the polls" yea well thats because the people liked his decisions, plus this isnt a totalitarian government, he isnt supposed to have universal supremacy. In THEORY the president works for the people and does what is popular. So if doing what people wanted and skyrocketing the economy makes him so bad, then it looks like your standards are a little high

bush also had his chance to get bin laden when he was trapped at Tora Bora, but never took it. Clinton never went after him, Bush had him cornered

Jobs not secret technology. It is no ones fault jobs are being moved to China. Offshoring is a major problem for America, but not caused by any President but the fact you can work for cheap in a country like China or India. BIG difference from jobs going to China then secret technology!

Yes people's happiness is more important then what really is going on:rolleyes: alot of Americans dont what Clinton did as a president, because we are now facing the problems he ignored. Bush Jr hasnt done much but the one thing he has done is put terrorist on the run and hurt al qeada ALOT. He's way more on the terrorism front then any president has done, he's messed up ALOT but overall he's doing a better job the Clinton because now were are going after the terrorist.

lets see cutting funding for not needed social programs or protecting the nation? tough decision:rolleyes:

What the hell! he had 3 EASY oppurtunities to get Bin Laden HE CHOSE NOT TO because it would make HIM look bad, he put his IMAGE above the nation. Given Bush Jr had a chance and didnt, so they both fucked up. But Clinton never really tried to get Ossama, and when the oppurtunity came knocking he turned it down because he didnt want to look bad. And Ossama was a huge threat then, the CIA and lots of people were yelling out warning signs, but Clintons image was more important

PS Clinton didnt do that good on the economy, he caused a recession.
