I would have thought Johnny plays all the guitar in recordings, although i haven't ever really though about it before.

Yes and chris wrote alot of songs on his own at first like A Message. Also if you look at pictures from the X&Y recording sessions you can clearly see that for most of it they recorded it real time. Which means basicly they got together and played the song flat out and recorded it and then added a bit.

Yes I'm pretty sure its Chris...although in the scientist perhaps its Jonny.

Live there is someone called Matt that sometimes plays some acoustic parts, such as for Yellow (since Chris usually doesnt like to play anything for that song :D)
