I need to move.. seriously.

ME TOO! im seriously considering it if our political situation doesnt get better in the next 5-8 years.

WOW!, great source. was that the best you could find?

if the most credible source you could find was from "a computer consultant born and raised in New Jersey. He lives in Pennsylvania, where the gun laws are less restrictive and taxes are lower. Joe always thought of himself as politically neutral until he saw how far left the left had really gone after 9/11. His essays and links to articles are available at http://guardian.blogdrive.com/." Then I think your argument is lacking.

"Just because Saddam had WMDs after all, it doesn't mean Bush didn't lie about them. As ridiculous as it sounds, this appears to be the instinctive, defensive reaction of many Liberals to this news. They so badly need to believe that President Bush lied in order to legitimise their hatred of him that they're capable of this sort of twisted reasoning. The rationale seems to be that WMDs don't count if they aren't exactly where the CIA told us they were, as if they couldn't be moved."

That's exactly what I would say if I was trying to defend a lying murdering dictator.

It's not about people needing to believe things.....what an asshole.

Yes because we all know gun laws and taxes are relavent to wmd's in Irag. Good way to reason things:rolleyes: :laugh3:

I think the one who use the fact he lives in a place where taxes are low and guns arnent very restricted as you basis for an arguement needs to do a better job:\

Yea we all saw what a HORRIBLE job Clinton did with the country....gah employment and needed social programs really suck ass. and dont give me that "he caused a recession" bullshit, BUSH fucking pissed away all of the surplus money and more.

I dont know about Hilary though, i doubt she will win. Condi is a smart woman as well, just with some ideas that, at this point in time, are being found wanting. I believe the only Republican candidate that i would back is Guliani. I really like Wesley Clark for the Dems though.

Nick, Sure we have a plan, but IT SUCKS ASS. it doesnt work. Our plan is to "stay the course in order to spread democracy to the world" yea well our democracy that we set up over there elected a Shiite president who is going to hook up with Iranm and is using the "police force" to eliminate rival sunnis. Bush is only saying we need to stay the course because he wants to wait out his final years and then its someone elses problem.

It is JUST like Vietnam, we are gonna sit there for a while and pull out.(that is the only thing we CAN do)

As for John Kerry, what a freakin pickle. It shows that our democratic leaders are a bunch of spineless losers.

I pick Wesely Clark and John Edwards. They would make a good team.

this isnt about bush being a good president he's not. But that does not change thee fact clinton caused a recession, let top secrets go to china when he knew about it(treason) lied to the nation, completely ignored terrorism, cut funding to the military, cut funding to the CIA FBI NSA and let stupid laws pass.....

The plan in your opinion may suck BUT WE HAVE ONE! all the dems do is complain complain complain all the fucking time. they need to tuck their vagina's in and come up with a plan. Cant you see most Americans dont even like the Democrats that much the ONLY reason they will vote for them this year is they have no other option.

you know what, i dont even like dems that much, but i KNOW they are better than fucking republicans, republicans are out to help their rich buddies and themselves and that IS IT. And do you know why there was a "RECESSION" after Clinton? its becaus ewe made so much money that with Bush the only place we could go was down!! so if its Clintons fault that he did a good job so what.

You talk about lying to the nation, he lied about a PERSONAL matter, and then he fessed up to it. Bush on the other hand lies to the nation repeatedly and then is too much of a pussy to admit it so now good men are being killed over it. He wont admit it so men have to die, how many died because of Clintons mistake???

All presidents let some stupid laws pass.

You also talk about secrets going to places like China, well look here, Reagan (im SURE you are in love with him) traded missiles for prisoners!

And what are we doing about terrorism now??? we are spying on our own people and doing random security checks at the airports while Bin Laden runs around free because our military is stuck in Iraq creating MORE terrorists! If we had just kept after Bin Laden in Afghanistan we probably would have won by now!! all we are doing is escelating the problem 100 fold AND leaving the brains of 9/11 COMPLETELY out of it???!!!!

Am i missing something or has this entire country gone insane??? Nobody seems to notice things that really matter! People go on and on about gay marriage and what not like its a big deal (who gives a shit!? it doesnt affect you, just the gay people) while real problems like katrina(at the time) and Iraq are right there for the solving! Republicans need something to keep the blame off of them so they blame Clinton for THEIR bad job!! its insane, i cant talk about it anymore:veryangry:

Just be thankful you dont live in England. Were screwed no matter what.

When America sneezes....

Sod your foreign policy, sort your economy out!

you know what' date=' [i']i[/i] dont even like dems that much, but i KNOW they are better than fucking republicans, republicans are out to help their rich buddies and themselves and that IS IT. Sorry i only side with the republican party because the democratic ones are full of nuts who just complain all the time. I'd like another party to come that isnt as corrupt or bitchy. Democrats help their rich buddies too...there are many rich dems. It goes BOTH WAYS. The recession was Clintons fault for doing short term politics without looking to the future. that type of thinking only helps on the here and now with no regards for the future. So in the short term he looks good and is politically strong but after a few short years his foolishness catch's up to the nation as we all saw with the economy and terrorism.

Blame Clinton for their bad job? CLINTON caused a recession and looked the other way agaisnt terrorism as it grew when HE chose not to nip it in the bud. All the dems can do is bithc 24/7 without offering a solution.

NEED I REMIND YOU CLINTON SPIED ON US CITIZEN TOO! he illegally wire tapped US citizens just as Bushy boy did. oh wait is it ok for Clinton to break the laws but not Bush?

Trading a few missiles for prisoners is not trading TOP SECRETS with an enemy. Its not treason to trade missiles but it is to sell top secret secrets. We sell Egypt F-16's but we dont give them top secret technology. Clinton sold out his nation for some campaign money from China....GREAT PRESIDENT!!!

you could go on all day finding "reasons" why he was a bad president, hell, when you are president for 8 years its pretty easy to find SOMETHING you dont agree with. I could go forever about reagan and Bush senior, i just liked Clintons policies alot better. His ways of running the country were controversial as is today with our president, and the president before clinton, and NEVER will EVERYONE agree with a president.

the only thing i disagree with you STRONGLY about is the recession stuff. Do we not remember that Bush's council of economic advisors changed the start date of the that recession to benifit Bush's reelection bid. Instead of using the accepted date of March 2001, the CEA said it "really" started in the 4th quarter of 2000. For 75 years the National Bureau of Economic research has made that call, but Bush's council chairman looked at the information and "made the call". So basically your arguement is flawed, you think Clinton started it, when really that was a lie from the beginning. A president has the right to change policies to the way he wants them, and he obviously did, and now that it didnt work out, he is trying to blame HIS economic failure on Clinton.

Clinton caused a recession??? Wasn't the budget like a billion or so in surplus during his presidency???

I was able to find MANY HUGE reasons.....not just made up small time ones...HUGE ONE that have long term effects on the nation.

The recession was because of CLintons policies bush was in office for a few month's. not long enought to cause it or change it.

a few months of bad decisions is more than enough to change things like that. Plus there is almost ALWAYS a small recession after a president changes out of office, but with Bush's HUGE tax cuts immediately after gaining office, there was no money coming in, and only money going out. That fueled your recession. You claim my statements to be "small" and "made up" . Find me some facts that support your statements, i have mine. It is a known fact that the Bush administration was the first in 75 years to overrule the National Bureau of Economic Research.

the Bush administration literally made all of that up.

I dont think you understood my point. The quote "a computer consultant born ..." was taken from the link YOU posted. Its at the bottom of the article describing who the author is. You are the one that posted a link from a random blogger as an attempt to convince us that there were WMDs in Iraq.

Name one.

On December 10, 2003, the congressional Joint Economic Committee released its official study showing that the recession began in the third quarter of 2000. Bill Clinton was still in office. hmmm it STARTED while BILL WAS IN OFFICE. but I guess its not his fault then... ;)

"The death-drop of the stock market did not begin with the Bush administration in January 2001, says the congressional Joint Economic Committee (JEC), but in March 2000 under the Clinton administration when it began its all-out attack on the entrepreneurs of the booming U.S. high-tech industry. Indeed, The Economist reports that this poisoning of the economic stream even may have begun in the late 1990s. According to JEC Chairman Rep. Jim Saxton, "The 2000 NASDAQ collapse also corroborates a variety of other data indicating that a sharp economic slowdown was under way by the middle of 2000."

sorry kids, you dont know what you're talking about:)

The fact remains under Bush you are trillions in debt.

Thats quite a precarious state of affairs to be in.

Oh im not saying Bush is doing good. We are going to pay a heavy price for his spending. But Clinton was not very good on the economy either.

well he was in power for 8 years and things only went downhill in the last half year.

Suggests he did good a job or delibertly screwed the economy.

Please dont tell me you believe the later...

He did a good short term job but overall he screwed us over for the long term, thus making his overall job bad. He only cared about how he was viewed. His policies were only good for a short term, good leaders thing about the long term.

So was there ever a good administration??

Yes, Reagan, JFK, Roosevelt, Washington Abe Lincoln(sp?)....Nixxon would have done a great job if he'd stayed in power longer....

When im president there will be a great administration.
