September 21, 200619 yr It was just a response to EMI bashing. I've seen you on other threads and you always seem to have a giant opinion about every little thing. Just let me eat EMI and don't bother thinking up a long post about it. isn't a forum about expressing opinions? i prefer to express my opinion than write some pointless shit like "EMI are stupid losers"
September 21, 200619 yr isn't a forum about expressing opinions? i prefer to express my opinion than write some pointless shit like "EMI are stupid losers" Come on. It was just a joke. Leave it at that and don't make a big deal out of it.
September 21, 200619 yr I like X&Y... I didn't before, but the stuff I like most of Coldplay is always changing--I don't have an all-time favorite Coldplay song, since it changes practically every day. Anyway... I feel kinda weird to be "disappointed" in a band... let them do what they want. Meh. "oh, they didn't do such 'n such, they did such in such instead...." but someone else might like the latter--can't please everyone.
September 22, 200619 yr isn't a forum about expressing opinions? i prefer to express my opinion than write some pointless shit like "EMI are stupid losers" god. youre not the only one that can express opinions here. if someone thinks emi sucks thats for them to think and you are nobody to be calling their opinions shit and pointless. i don't mean to start anything but your replies on some threads (and to me in another thread) are ridiculous. your horse sure is high.
September 22, 200619 yr 1. there was no dvd after months of anticipation. 2. White Shadows What If? and the hardest part had no new b-sides 3. There Was no white shadows video personal problems 4. The Hardest Part Video Was a disaster 5.They skipped St. Louis on there second leg of twisted logic tour 6. Their wont be an album til 2008 (but i cant blame them, being the best band ever) 1. I don't think that was a band's fault... who knows what happened 2. maybe they're waiting for the new album to put great songs in it 3. we can live without that video.. 4. I hate it :( ... but well... everything's not perfect 5. they skipped latin america... be thankful because they've been enough times in usa... latin fans are waiting since a lot of time... coldplay has never been in my country.. :( 6. it's better to wait than have a not so good album...

September 22, 200619 yr Come on, there's absolutely no point in insulting anyone here.. I've notived that there've been a lot of arguments in threads recently.. Calm down, guys! I understand why people are disappointed about the DVD thing. And I'm sure that EMI has done some things that upsets fans, but every company does.. That's music business, you can't satisfy everyone!
September 22, 200619 yr I love coldplay, and hey that will never change so their is no point to this thread for me!
September 22, 200619 yr ^ Exactly. Just be happy that the band is still around, that they just finished a long, great tour and that they're not planning to break up! That's all a fan wants! And waiting for a new album, new b-sides, new videos and new gigs is what excitement for a band is all about :D
September 22, 200619 yr the main problem is that most Coldplay fans have no idea what they are talking about. they don't know what can be in the background of all this. naturally, blaming the label is the easiest thing, but you can't know for sure that whose fault that there's no DVD...this year. the best (financially) resolving of this problem would be releasing the DVD in summer or autumn of 2007 when all the fans would be even hungrier to get a new release than now(of course if there's no album next year). EMI help Coldplay from the beginning. they made a lot of money of Coldplay, that's undoubtful too. Coldplay - EMI relationship is very strong IMO, they both profit, especially financially oh!! and some Coldplay fans really piss me off with the narrow and childish thinking, grow the fuck up and stop complaining about nothing, jeez
September 23, 200619 yr you confute yourself in your own reply. erase yourself' date=' asshole[/quote'] real mature. i appreciate the 9 year old name callings :dozey:
September 23, 200619 yr real mature. i appreciate the 9 year old name callings :dozey: and all this says a typical Coldplay fan=boomslang

People now want everything yesterday and aren't prepared to wait a little while. Surely there's more than enough material floating around to keep everyone happy in the meantime?:dozey:

September 23, 200619 yr On a completely different note... I'm thankful Coldplay is still together as a band when so many other crash and burn. I'm thankful that they make an attempt at making sure fans get tickets not just ticket hustlers. I'm thankful that they played little old Manchester New Hampshire because I never in a million years thought they'd play near me I'm thankful for the ROBTTH DVD/CD that they put out last time, at least I can watch that and laugh over the tour diary. I'm thankful for a community of fans like this who are so passionate and freely share their graphic talents, their uploads and their band news. Ok, I'll take off my Pollyanna hat and go get more coffee for my breakfast.
