My package just arrived today, too. That means that I eventually got my Wembley t-shirt! :) 13 months late, but whatever, it made me reminiscing about that night, and that was totally worth the wait and the ridiculously high shipping charges :lol:

Exciting news for all Noel Gallagher fans! According to a well known reliable source, Noel Gallagher has assembled his backing band for his future solo career. The band in question are called The Sand Band, and hail from Liverpool. These are just rumours of course but interesting nonetheless.

Beady Eye touring. That'd be interesting as their album should be. I'll say one thing though - they've done one thing right already in getting Steve Lilleywhite to produce the album. Looking at my CD stash right now, a hell of a lot of them are produced by him. Numerous U2 albums, Morrissey, my personal favourite The La's. Unbelievable producer.

Beady Eye touring. That'd be interesting as their album should be. I'll say one thing though - they've done one thing right already in getting Steve Lilleywhite to produce the album. Looking at my CD stash right now, a hell of a lot of them are produced by him. Numerous U2 albums, Morrissey, my personal favourite The La's. Unbelievable producer.

I'm not sure who I'm more excited to hear. I love Liam's voice so obviously Beady Eye is going to sound good, but I want to hear Noel's lyrics more. Either way, they're going to be two fantastic albums.

Fucking love The La's I do. Son of a Gun is a magic song as is Feelin. But like you said the whole album is immense!

 

Oh and There She Goes - everybody's heard it a million times but it NEVER gets old. One of the greatest songs from the last 30 years in my opinion.

True - I'm definitely gearing up for Noel's album whenever it comes out. If it's as anything as good as this utter gem he wrote (fingers crossed he releases it) then the album will be truly great.
