Welcome new Frenger. That's the nickname for Mew's fans. The name Frengers came from a cartoon (or was it a comic?) the singer made at age 11 about these creatures who were not friends, but not quite strangers.

Yeah just saw that over on t'other site..it wouldn't play for me..:bigcry: What does he say..? Anything interesting?

He tells the story we all know about how he sings the way he does. He didn't have a PA at their original practice space so he had to plug his microphone into his amp. They were playing really loud so he had to sing much louder over the sound. That's how he started to sing the way he does. He was trying to convey a melody over all that sound they were making. :)
