I'm about an hours drive away from MCR...I was tempted to get tix...even watched a few on eBay to see what they went for...but in the end decided it wouldn't be worth it for just a 30 min slot surrounded by deadhead nin fans...:\

 

Working on the possibility of going to Latitude instead, but....dunno...still working on the logistics..

Although, since Mew plays a pretty small set, they're usually packed up adn ready to go sooner. As soon as their show ends, you can go and wait for them by their bus. You'd stand a pretty good chance of meeting them then.

 

But you should see them at their best, when they're the headliners and playing to their own fans. :)

Well, I'm still holding out for a proper UK tour at some point, this year/next year, it's gotta happen surely..? I just gotta be patient. :)

 

Don't think I'll be going in for the whole stalking thing tho'. I'll only be going for the one day, the Friday, not the whole w/end and mew will be the last band of the day that I want to see (there's a couple of bands in the pm I don't wantt o miss) so I'll be making for the carpark and probably driving home that night, or pitching a tent in the dark. Should be fun either way.. :)

He's liek Nick their keyboard player. nick has toured with Mew since 2002 or 2003. Bastian has only played Bass since 2006. Neither is a member of the band. Nick also works in photography and Bastian works as a tech with other bands. He played studio and live bass for Swan Lee (Johns baby mamas band)
