Chris' acoustic guitars

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new and I know that this question has been made for a billion times:

Since "Parachutes", which are the acoustic guitars Chris Martin played in studio?

Can I know the full name of the guitars? I'm gonna buy a new acoustic guitar and I'd like to have one like Chris.

Thank you all!!! :D :D :D

well... i suppose you`re rich....:sneaky:

No, I'm not rich!

I want to pay the guitar month per month, in 1 or 2 years ;)

Let's try to find this info, in this forum there's all about coldplay, but not something about their acoustic guitars!!!

I only know one of the guitars he used this tour was a Gibson Hummingbird. I so want one of those :(

I know he used a Martin acoustic at one point, which IMO, is the best quality acoustic out there. Pricey for sure, but worth it. I myself don't own one (yet)...I have an AJ model Epiphone.

Doesn't Chris martin use the DC 15E. I also thought it was the OMC 15E, but I think it's the DC 15E

What kind is this one:

I cant see the brand, but I love how it is smaller than an average acoustic guitar.

I have looked at this guitar for a very very long time, and I realise that is has the body of the OMC-15E but the pickguard is much bigger than normal in the picture above. So I'm still working on it.

Pianos all sound different, even if they are the same style of instrument - perhaps the same is true with guitars (?). Try a bunch, and see which ones you like the best, I would say. Yes, I agree wholeheartedly - their acoustic playing is fantastic - it might be worth the while to contact Debs Wild as was previously suggested...

Anywhichway, the best to you!

It has the body etc like a Cort Guitar.

Don't know if you know that brand.

But I think this is a way more expensive guitar than a cort :p

But search it up, it looks like the same :)

I also got a cort:)

Plays great !
