Well I might , 'cause I am investigating about unis and this is an option :), how is it?? would you recommend me the uni ?, I would like to know a bit more because I would be a foreign student , I've never been to Australia.

So howabout the AFL Grand Final, hey? :P pretty funny outcome :laugh3:

I loved it! It's such a nice campus, got so much history, it's the most prestigious Uni in Melbourne, and so close to the city. I highly recommend it, all my friends go there too and my sister starts there next year. Let me know if you want any help with stuff.

Agree!

Last year I watched an entire AFL game for the first time, ever, and I know the players have tactics etc but it seriously looked like they were just tackling each other randomly, it was hilarious :P

i admire their athletic abilities but being a sydneysider rugby league is in my blood and afl is pretty foreign to me. they want to start up a new afl team in the area i live in. im predicting it will be an epic fail, the sport of rugby league is so deeply ingrained in peoples hearts and minds here nothing else can work well here.

Me too (though I can't say football's really my sport... :P), I only watched the AFL because I happened to be in Victoria during the Grand Final.

But yeah, pretty much the biggest thing here with football is Origin. Even I watch Origin every now and then :P

They will. There's already the new Gold Coast team. It's highly likely now.

staying with the sporting theme. the NRL grand final has just sold out before general sale even started.

Wow. That's not a bad turnout. Go Roosters I say, pretty decent effort going from last to first in one season

Wow thanks very much , I am just in the process of choosing a University ,because I'll start foundation year in 2011. You guys are so lucky to live there and have a good place to study , and you can afford it,I've been checking and the university cost there is 1000 % more than here. Seriously in mexico is really hard to enter in the university because there are just a few , ...we might even have to sell our house so I can go to collegue in another country.:\

I'm visiting Sydney this December to see U2. I'm very excited. I hope the weather is nice. I can't wait.

The only thing is that I'll need to endure a 15-hour flight.

In my defence, our entire winters are much more pleasant than yours, HA.

I hear people saying 10/10/10 only happens once every thousand years? (by people, i mean on facebook :P)

but seriously, once in a thousand years? I'm pretty sure it's once in a hundred...
