Nope.......I can tell you why...

here in Germany Halloween is definitely NO tradition....many people celbrate it only because it became popular through the media....

so since some years little children use to come at our doors and want to have candies....that's a bit like begging without even being a tradition....

andother stupid thing is that the 31st of Octobre actually is THE holiday of the protestant Christians.....but many people forget that because of stupid Halloween which doesn't have ANY sense here in Germany...

Bah humbug!

My friend dressed up as a little kid by putting on a batman suit, complete with long cape, and walking around on his knees with shoes tied to his kneecaps. I was his older brother.

We made a killer in terms of Mars Bars.

In France it's the same... tradition? where? In france it has never exist before 2000 or sth like this...

It's only sth created to make ppl buy, and nothing else...

I agree Julia!

Roasted pumpkin seeds are delicious! :nice: I know because they just came out of the oven. I may be too old to trick or treat, but I still love carving jack-o-lanterns- getting all gooey is fun. And what's halloween without snitching large quantities of chocolate out of the candy bowl?

I was going to dig my medieval style elven dress out of the closet to answer the door in, but the kids started showing up before I got a chance.

My poor cat, though... he's scared of strangers and hides whenever the doorbell rings, so a night like tonight is torture for him. He might be happier outside, but it's not exactly a safe night for a black cat to be out roming on...

I was thinking of putting a bowl of rocks outside my door' date=' but.... I'll just go around, hide in bushes, and scare little kids.[/quote']

 Very nice. What's the day without a little drama?
