Denise
The problem is that most of the people think climate change is just a bunch of bullshit made up by environmentalists, cause many still says the change in temperatures is just cyclic I myself am working in this field because I believe we can still make something to stop this degeneration and exploitation of the nature around us, which unfortunately or luckly is our home

Matter-Eater Lad
The earth does heat up and cool naturally - Fact Wise man.. Fact a couple of hundreds of years ago the earth had a mini ice age and then warmed upa few degree's without humans doing anything. We have little affect on the natural climate changes of earth. ”Climatic changes vary over hundreds of thousands of years, thus it is really not possible to prove that there is global warming when you are talking records that possibly extend back only hundreds of years. Only a few years ago, I remember talk about glacial increases. Give us a break! When we have records going back to the last global warming period, then we might be able to view cyclic changes and have a better idea of how long global warming takes place before it begins to cool off again. Sun spot periods are a good example of how we can predict increases in sun spot activity.” — Richard"
vertigo caz
Ok I can see why the earth would would be warming due to the cyclic phase of heating and cooling ..thats a scientific fact. But are you saying humans have had NO impact on climate changes what so ever?

They keep being bothered about the fact that its our 'fault' that earth is heating up. We've had ice-ages, hotter periods, ... Now we're going to another hotter period, why should we try and change the way nature acts ?

General Smut
yea we are harming the enviroment but global warming? nah. Instead of spending billions and billions fighting against something which will happen anyway is pointless. We could use that money to colonize the moon instead or use it to build coastel defences, move people to safer areas, improve world access to water etc etc
Matter-Eater Lad
I believe all that also but I do think us humans are causing way to much pollution etc which is effecting it too. Pollution is a major problem, its causing problems but not global warming
Ondes Martenot
I wish more people would read up on some science and inform themselves about true science proving this bullshit i don't know what you are talking about. the prevailing number of scientists admit that in the last 50 years the humans did more to cause climate change than the nature itself. the increasing number of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere makes the temperature higher, it is a scientific fact well, if you want to ignore scientific facts, then good luck
Black Rose
I wonder why the temperature rose when coming out of the last ice age? Was it cavemen saying "it's cold" and going to buy a SUV??? Cows add more to the so-called "enhanced" greenhouse effect than humans. And with the UK bringing in "Green" taxes, what for? Last time I checked out of the total 'pollution' the UK only added 2%, so even if the UK is blown up it won't make any difference whatsoever. Cows add more to the so-called "enhanced" greenhouse effect than humans. Enough said! Isnt science a bitch? it proves this doom and gloom global warming theory wrong.
