I guess it's not a big deal. I usually don't think 11 years makes a difference but usually it's when the girl is a bit older. Some people my think it's a big deal because you are still technically in your teens.

Side note though: age can play some of a role in a relationship, such as relating to certain topics, the fact that your date probably remembers the 80's and you were only around for the latter half could be interesting.

Ha ha! THat's soooo true! I'm 36 and I'm with a 29-year-old...and he loves the 80s, but I was uncomfortable in the beginning because I remember all of the 80s. We have so much in commmon that 7 years really doesn't make a difference! (besides, he's Chris's age,lol:lol: ).

I reckon that age matters but only when the age difference is about 15 years or more (to be honest I couldn't say where the limit is). Imagine your age difference is 20 years and that you're still with him when you're 40... a 40years old woman still has loads of things to do, and a 60years-old-man is a bit old for doing everything she would want to and that would cause problems between you!

Anyway, I think it's better to be with someone who is your age more or less.
