Your Best Christmas Present, EVERR!!!!11!1

Featured Replies

What was it?

Now, I think you should judge by how excited you were at the time, obviously the present now probably seems old (Unless it was sentimental, but lets face it, sentimental gifts make you go "Awwwww..." not "AHHHHGH!G!H!HHAHAHA!!!")

When we got a computer like 10 years ago, I was bouncing around the living room. Without a doubt the most excited I have been on christmas day.

Another item is probably actually the best christmas present Ive ever gotten, but it made me sentimental, not absolutely mental.

probably the Play Station i got years ago.

man, i was excited... and the guitar two years ago.

those two things don't mean that much to me anymore, but definitely best presents ever since i totally didn't expect them.

I think I can't even tell you.....because it is exactly like you said....every year we think we have the best present ever......so this year it is my own laptop.....and who knows what it will be next year.....

but I must admit.,....all my presents rocked so far.....:D

My presents sucked this year, and last year too.

I can barely remember.

A little digital alarm clock (Which is uh, ok, but I dont plan on using it)

A WORLD CUP FOOTBALL BOOK?! (I mean, do they think Im 7? Why would I ever read that?)

A freakin Simpsons Connect 4 thing (Once again, am I 7?)

I cant even remember the rest.

Im not upset or anything, its just a shame to see them waste money on things that I have no intention in ever using, when I did tell them things that I'd like.

Because I dont live at home anymore, and they didnt see me for half a year before a few days ago, it just feels like they dont even know me anymore, judging by these presents. Thats a little depressing.

ooooh I can imagine.....well so far my parents always had the right presents for me (ok I always got what I wanted....) I wonder what it will be like when I don't live at home anymore.....but I believe in them and trust in them that they will know me well enough..........

Well my parents are investing in stuff lately and dont have money to throw around, the presents they got me probably cost less then 30 euros. The money I've spent on them is about 200 euro, isnt that quite backwards? I know I'm an adult, but still.

I'd like to think that if my parents had the money, they'd have gotten a PSP because I have mentioned it, but all my mum said about it the other day was "I didnt look about that funny PSP thing because I doubt I could find it".

I mean, its everywhere, in every gamestore and general christmas store, she could have just asked my brother. Its just kindof, a bother...

But even so, PSP aside, I dont understand how they thought I'd like this stuff.

well......maybe they didn't know what to give you and didn't want to disappoint you (without any present....)....and so they bought those things because of "desperation".....ok this is a quite weak thought....

Haha, I've told them lots of stuff, apparently they dont listen.

Its alright.

When I got my videocamera last year I was so hyper/crazy/happy/excited!!!!

You have no idea what I got for this christmas:stunned: I have to ask how to use it though because I do not know! :embarassed:

I got boring old clothes and stuff....

and a couple of CD's i would not even use for a beer coaster!!

I mean who wants stuff like that these days?

My ps2 about 2 years ago. I can't remember all my presents. I got a really cool teddy bear once. I still love that bear. Also my old bikes were awesome.

the BEST xmas gift i've ever recieved was in 2001.

i was totally not expecting it because i didn't think we could find it where we were (papua new guinea.)

anyway, i am probably the biggest band of brothers fan out there and i knew the gift was a cd but when i opened it, i saw it was the soundtrack of the mini-series.

i thanked everyone a thousand times before balling my eyes out and getting all emotional. never felt that way about a gift since lol.

no one understands my beloved connection with it and no one will, but that was an amazing gift, very sentimental.
