I love the old stuff by the Sugababes (back when they were good, and well, actually the Sugababes and not just one of them with two other girls standing around), also got a soft spot for The arctic monkeys and Girls Aloud.

 

 

However, really GUILTY pleasures are:

Panic at the disco

The Academy is... - I can't stop listening to 'Slow Down' by them. I don't understand why but I have it on repeat so much and this think it's brilliant (and God is it emo).

 

Last but not least two songs by Keane. I normally hate them soooooo much and then suddenly there is a song I actually like. I mean, actually some of their songs start good and then they do what the Killers like to do so often: they destroy their own fucking songs! Grrr, this makes me so angry. Listen to 'We might as well be strangers', isn't it beautiful until he just can't stop going higher and goes We Might As Well, We Might As Well AND THEN the third time it is soooo the wrong key, it is so destroying the whole thing because it's all keany and taking away the great atmosphere they created before. Ar.

and about John Mayer, I guess he's not really a guilty pleasure nowadays, but usually if you tell someone you like john mayer, they'll just laugh and be say "you like the song 'Your body is a wonderland?'". I love his new stuff from John Mayer Trio and Continuum.

After I had to perfom 'Black Horse and the cherry tree' with my music class live I can't stand her anymore. I had that freaking bass line and my singing parts stuck in my head all the damned time.
