Whats the biggest wound/injury you've ever had?

Featured Replies

I once got a bruised toe playing cricket. The ball went all the way to the boundry - amazing nothing was actually hurt.

I got my tongue stuck to an Ice Lolly once. (just like Dumb and Dumber)

I messed my hamstring up by kicking a stone.

And i once broke a chair with my back! I was standing on it and someone kicked it out from underneath me and i landed on it and smashed it. Had a great big scar like a shark bite but sadly its faded.

But nothing beats this: I have the biggest wound of all - a broken heart!! Manda Mac, summer 06!

This thread could be like that scene from Jaws where Quint and the beardy guy brag about scars!

I almost cracked my head open once.... my forehead is scarred for life because I had a hematoma. So when I raise my eyebrows there's this dent....

I burned my arm with an iron when I was four- I still have the scar!

And I had a bad shaving accident a year ago. The scar is on my left leg.

This isn't really an "injury", but I had my thymus removed when I was 12 (a gland above your heart) and in the process they had to break my sternum to get to it. :freak:

I sprained my ankle pretty bad once while running towards a car in the parking lot. I got to the point I thought I might've fractured it, because it was taking forever to heal.

My sister dropped a fan on me when I was 4 while I was holding a pen and the pen stabbed my eyebrow. :laugh3: A piece of my eyebrow (at the end of my left) is missing now, haha.

Punched this shelf in our garage and ripped a piece of skin down the the ligament of the last knuckle of my right hand. :/ Kinda gross.

Cracked skull.

Never really had one......lucky I guess

Ah now I've jinxed it.....:dozey:

Umm never had any biggies I don't think. Whenever I do highjump my arms always get major scabs and there is a mark left there for months. I always hurt my hammy when I do athletics also. I never get injured to much though, never broken a bone or anything. :(

I have a scar in my left arm.

I had 3 or 4 years old and I have 2 crystal bottles in each hand and I run but I fall and I broke one bottle with my left hand.

When I was 11 my sisters dog attacked me because it thought I was going to eat its food (I wasn't)... My thigh (I think the one on my left leg) was brusied and scratched for a while but unfortunately it didn't scar...

Early last year, I was eating the two minute noodles that come in the cup and i had only taken a few mouthfulls when I somehow dropped the cup and it went all over my legs and because the water was still boiling hot it left a scar on the back of my right thigh  it's my biggest scar.

I have a couple of scars from shaving and from burning myself and from skinning my knees as well... but, thankfully, I've never broken or fractured any bones and hopefully it'll stay that way.

Smashed foot,smashed Knee,fractured ankle,fractured leg......

Never own a motorbike!!!!!

A piece of glass "found its way" into my left leg long time ago.

Scars still here.

And my arms aru full of tiny scars to which I cannot find any cause.

i was 3 and i was playing at "Little horse" with my cousin.....and she mad me beat my head on my aunt's bed........i went to the hospital.......and the damages are still visible on my brain:p

snapped the tendons in my ring finger saving a shot in football. I was shocked to see I could bend it both ways at the middle joint.

haha, i love that scene! classic. 'let me guess...."mom" '

anyway, when i was 7 or something, i was playing chasey with all these other kids, and they all started running into a room and when i reached the door, they shut it and without thinking, i put my fingers at the hinge of the door and it slammed shut! i shrieked and yelled like there was no tomorrow. my litle and ring finger had to be stitched back together (my little finger was literlly hanging on by skin!)

anyway, now i have a scar which is pretty groovey, and i can move all my knuckles as though they are piano keys ;)

oh and i was also bitten by a bulldog which i grabbed from behind. not very smart.

Been under surgery because of my disease 3 times.

So the biggest wound was on that place, near my neck and my chest.

I was awake when they did it. My sis saw everything.

Well, I've broken up my 2 knees for once...I had to stay a long month ithouth walking and I have 2 big scars...

What is your disease' date=' if you don't mind me asking?[/quote']

I don't know the exact name of my disease.

It has something to do with my muscles or something. (Did I write that well?)

It made me lose weight and I get tired easily. Also, because I take medicines, I had weird spots on my arm and for awhile I couldn't move my arm. :\

And oh well. Now I have to take meds everyday and every Saturday 8 pills.

Oh and I wasn't born with it, dunno what the cause is.

Oh ok then. I think that it's really good that you continue on as normal with that happening to you (well I assume that you do, I don't actually know for sure). I hope you get better!

i broke my wrist in 2 places once playing roller hockey, that hurt like a bitch.

Thanks a lot, yes I do. This has been my disability for almost my whole life now so. :)

Well, good on you! I think that anyone who continues with life even though they have an illness are some of the bravest people in the world...
