I sometimes feel like people are watching us..sometimes there is hundreds of guest users viewing the lounge....sometimes it's like being in a big brother house!!

Anyone else thought like that???

Oh glad I'm not the only one thinking that...:)

Yep don't worry Rick.......er great minds think alike........or something of that sort, hehe

i don't really take much notice to be honest :s but when i do i tend to think they are registered users who haven't logged on and just browsing, but of course some are potential coldplayers :nice:

I dont know about that...I use the auto log in feature which automatically logs me in.

yeah, that choice is always available but others, like myself, and especially those who don't use invisible mode, maybe would rather log out and log in manually :/ well i do

like 96 guests right now

scary :P

Forums are like fishbowls. Just the nature of the place. It took me months of lurking before I signed up for an account here, and there are plenty of other forums I read regularly but never post on.

But yeah, I'm also one of the ones who rarely signs in, because I always spend too much time here when I do. Like today. :dozey:

Here's some food for thought.... the weirdest thing about lurking on any board in general is getting attached to a certain group of regulars who don't even know you exist.

^That is wierd to think about haha.

I wonder if the guests are reading this thread? I wonder if all these club threads scare guest users away.

^ i'm hoping they are more put off by them than scared, i'd like to think we're a lovely friendly bunch, i mean naturally

you can check which threads the guests are viewing by the "who's online' link in the forum jump tab

haha Rick. I've had people saying "I've been meaning to meet you and talk to you" and they always seem to know something about me but it's because they come in and read and never post nothing about themselves.

PS: To those guests who are reading and would like to register. Please don't tell me you've been meaning to talk to me or call me by my name when I haven't told you yet. Leave me something for me to say :P

A guest is currently viewing a thread not posted in since 2003....random.

I've often thought of making a 'hey guests, come on in' thread, but I don't want to be pushy. But since we're here and it's now...

"HEY GUESTS, COME ON IN!!"

Of course, my daydream is that someone with alot of money is watching the CD and will want to finance it once they see how good it really is,lol. ;)

Well you never know. Maybe Chris Martin visits here as a guest.

I've posted before that during the Twisted Logic tour the guys used to scour the net for reviews after shows, so they've probably lurked here. And Will's emailed Ian, so they definitely know we exist...they must think we're NUTS,lol.:laugh3:

Well the apple doesn't fall far from the tree

i.e. Chris Martin is nuts so naturally his fans are too!

I thought Will send the letter to Debs to send to whoever she thought would be able to help them and she def. knows this place and she also comes here and lurks hehe.

Lol. For a second there, I thought you were going to say his daughter must be nuts too, lol.:P

Haha as soon as I typed Apple I knew it would be read more than one way.

Yep!:laugh3:

When I joined, I didn't lurk for more than a few days because I knew right away I liked this place. Mostly, I laughed my ass of at the silly threads, and I could tell right away that it was a friendly place.:)

More lurkers around now!!

There has been a sudden rise of them over the last few days! :o

heh.

There are usually more guest than there are members around the threads. But it is pretty creepy, specially when there is hardy any members on and you are the only one around. But you just know one or another guest is viewing without posting...

Sometimes I don't log in because I am just wanting to see any replies. I log in to check pm's and if I see something I want to reply to.

welcome to the potential coldplayers then! :D

actually before i joined here i was a member of the official forum, and still am, though i have on occasion had to reactivate my account due to lengthly inactivity :shame: i came here early last year, lurked around, felt like the place was too big and there were already established groups etc, so i held off, but after the concert in june and reading everyone else's posts about that, i couldn't resist :D

this place is great, so for your lurkers pondering whether or not to join, do it, you will eventually :P :nice:
