I like the barenaked ladies, so i'm assuming most of you guys do not, but do any of you like them? They're one of my favorite bands

I like what i've heard from them, which is only about 3 songs. I used to love 'one week' and 'shoe box' i've always liked.

yeah, i dont no how much radio playing they got over seas in asia, europe, austrailia but in the 90's they were really big in canada and the us

Also the first Canadian band to sell a million copies without being signed to a record label...I used to have that first tape, I think it came out in '92.

Sometimes I think that there's some rule that if you're Canadian you have to like these guys... I don't really know anyone who doesn't.

 

I'm not much of a fan, but there are lots of songs of theirs that I like. Especially the one about the monkeys.

Also after BNL concerts now you can buy a USB stick with the gig you just watched right after the show ends which is pretty sweet.

I'd heard that. I wish Coldplay would do that,lol.

 

I liked their earlier stuff...before they got too serious,lol. But the later stuff is ok too. Alot of Canadians bashed them for 'selling out' and aiming their music more at a US crowd, but I didn't get into that...they're trying to be a successful band. Of course they're going to do that. It's not like Bryan Adams' Canada Council grant stunt or something,lol.
