beastwars Posted October 20, 2015 Share Posted October 20, 2015 I grew up with his music. One of the best composers/artists/songwriters/guitarists ever. I love his versality, his love for traditional music and the way he combines it with prog rock, new wave, ambient and new age. My favourite albums are Platinum, Discovery and Voyager, but he did also masterpieces like Tubular Bells, Amarok and Ommadawn or great albums like QE2, Crises and Light&Shade. Even his pop catalogue is quite good, and I don't talk about Moonlight Shadow (that I think is quite overrated, maybe because they always play only this song on the radio), but about Foreign Affair, Family Man, Nothing But/Bridge To Paradise, Man In The Rain and so on...
