I name all my fantasy sports teams the Warriors so I'm pumped about the upset. WOoo go Warriors!

The Suns will crash at San Antonio the same way the persians crashed against the spartan shields, allthough at the end San Antonio will not fall :sneaky:

San Antonio won 111-106 over the Suns in Game 1 in Phoenix. What a game it was!!! Duncan had game-high 33 points and 16 rebounds and Parker added 32. Nash scored the most for the Suns and also had 8 assists.

 

 

It's a real shame he couldn't play the last minutes. Duncan was massive but I like Nash and he IS clutch so it could have been different. Looks like it's gonna be a great series though.

He bumped heads with Tony Parker and got a big gash on his bridge. Needed 6 stitches.

I'm gutted that the Suns were knocked out like. Amare and Diaw should never have been suspended that game 5. The league just pretty much guaranteed that the Spurs would get to the next round and it worked.

Plus, Spurs were the better team in the series they lost two games and one of them (the loss in San Antionio) they could`ve won it but let the Suns make huge run at the end. Except that Horry is arguably one of the better 6th man in the NBA and he was suspended for 2 games.

spurs are the dirties team on the NBA, and indeed i hate them passionately.

:\ The matchup is always weird. In my opinion:

 

Nash > Parker

Bell < Ginobili

Marion > Bowen

Diaw < Duncan

Stoudamire > Elson/Oberto.

 

I dunno, I think if Amare had been playing in the game 5 (on Phoenix's home court) the outcome could have been completely different. Amare and Diaw were two of the guys who played up to Duncan on D, them two and Kurt Thomas. It left the Suns with a huge problem there.

In my opinion the game is not decided down to the personal matchups and especially the last couple of years. When you look at the individual list on SAs roster you see players that would probably never be so popular and may be they wouldn`t be in the NBA at all weren`t they playing for SA but they are part of one team with a great couch and they are doing their part even though they may not have the talent of AI or Kobe or one of the superstars. The one exception is Tim Duncan around whom this team is build. They don`t have a guy that can give you 30 points every game but as I said their players are sunchronised with the team`s way of play and that`s the reason for their success. About game 5... we will never know but San Antonio is capable of winning against PHX even with Amare on the starting list so...

Hey, as a Knicks fan, I'm glad they're not here. We only come across them in 4 games next season. :D

 

Would love to watch Curry v Oden though. Curry is the best offensive C in the league, and I wanna see how good Oden is defensively. As good as people say.

 

Truth be told, I think Durant will be better. I know Durant is one of my favourite players to watch right now, and I've only seen a handful of games he's been in. Amazing player. Imagine him in 4 years with weight.

 

 

I dislike Seattle a lot for Ray Allen and Lewis, but with Lewis going, and Ray on his way out, and Seattle moving to say, Las Vegas or Oklahoma or somewhere, I'm more than happy to support them in the West.

 

Stern wanted the big 2 to go to bigger markets though. I'm just glad Boston got 5th. :) I dislike Boston so so much. I don't like ANY of their players.

I`d stay rather calm after the draft lottery. I mean, how many times have we seen guys get picked in the early 1st. round, really great players, and are all messed up playing in the NBA?!

I don't care who wins anymore with the Raptors out.

But hey, I'm proud of them they overachieved and are only going to get better. They rebuilt and I can't wait for the future.

no you re not alone.. hoping for a final between boston and san antonio. it s going to be tough for the spurs though but they are veeery experienced so they might win the western series.

but i am more focussed on the boston celtics at the moment because i dislike the heat with it s leprincess james and dont want them to win anything :wacky:
