Anyway, I made myself a peanut butter chocolate shake. I ended up putting way too much peanut butter in it, and now, I think I'm going to be sick. :sick:

I really enjoyed making the french bread the other day. Gonna try to make some whole wheat bread soon.

This was my first attempt at making bread a few weeks ago, it looks better these days now I've replaced olive oil for unsalted butter

May I get the recipe?
I use no.5 traditional 2lb and shove it all in the breadmaker for 3 hours. I use butter as it recommends here (instead of olive oil like some other recipes) otherwise it looks slightly jaundiced. I put slightly more yeast in to make it rise out of the tin and less heavy. If you want the other numbered recipes (lots) then let me know :)

Wait I don't have a bread maker. Does it say anywhere how long to put in the oven and at what temp? And how long to let it rise after I make the dough? With the french bread it took about 4 1/2 hours total.

the breadmaker does the whole job in 3 hours, roughly speaking it uses the first hour to knead twice, then rise for the second hour on a very low heat and then the last hour to cook inside a red ring. Don't know how that translates to a conventional oven though, which is bigger.

 

Anyway, here's one I prepared earlier. Going to try walnut and raisin bread or chocolate chip bread next.
