I saw him when he was in Toronto back in April or so. The Frames were the openers (WHO WERE AMAZING BTW) but oh Damien. Damien Damien Damien. What an act! Amazing, it was so much more intense than I had thought that that music could be. Wow, he was really good. Anyways, I waited for him after the concert, with a friend of mine, and we stood there for like two hours just for him to come out. He eventually did (apparently he was hungry...) but yeah, I got an autograph and everything. Such a sweet guy. My friend had to leave because her bus stopped running after a certain time, so I told him the story and he drew on her CD a picture of her running after the bus going "Wait for me!!!" and the bus pulling away. I was I guess obviously shivering from the cold, and so he just drew me shivering in the cold. :) The top left is Lisa, the top right is Vyvienne and the bottom is Damien!
