June 18, 200719 yr Africa was 'stable' when it was all owned by Europe, it's when they all wanted independence their problems started, Europe gave them independence, corrupt governments came in and corrupted the countries, throwing them into ruin, then come back asking Europe to help sort out their mess. i know movies don't have as deep an analysis as books etc but watch Lumumba, Gandhi, the Belgians and British made it a difficult transition of power for the Democratic Republic of the Congo(formely zaire) and India respectively. the Indian and Pakistani split was traumatic and it didn't have to be so, when certian voices told the British to draw the split line differently this advice was ignored. Mobutu (future dictator of Zaire) was backed by US and Belgium (no finger pointing here y'all work together now). on another note thanks for posting info on amnesty int. and the between darfur and baghdad article gona read it now.

July 20, 200718 yr America can't do anything, they ain't got the manpower. We do. We have more then enough men. We have hundreds of thousands of soldiers sitting around all over the world. Im sure a couple hundred thousand in europe, maybe around 100,000 in asia and many more in america. The military just doesn't want to move/use them. But that is not the point, If america got involved the world would just get mad and call us the world police. Which brings me back to Europe needing to clean up the mess it made. Its funny how easy it is to attack america for its mistakes but almost everyone in here from europe wouldnt dare admit to any european nation making a mistake. Its an insane idea that a european nation could make a mess.... I can admit when my country messes up, thats more then you guys can do. America makes a mess in iraq and all you hear is europeans bashing america...Europe rapes africa for thousands of years creating the biggest mess in the modern day and no one makes a sound? And on top of that its still going on, europe is still raping africa...but yes lets focus just on America's mistakes. Europe on the other hand makes none. Anyone who gets mad at america and bash's america for iraq and does not make a sound about Africa is a evil bastard, and a hypocrite.
