A lot of the oldies were staying not because of Coldplay but because of the people. I really doubt that with a new coldplay album coming they'll come back and stay. Maybe they'll come and visit and maybe post several posts but in the end they'll end up leaving once again because of the same reason. It's not the way it was before..

I think we should all make a thread about our daily life. I think we all agree that by the end of the day we want to distract ourselves and maybe talk about inner thoughts or the things we observed.. that's what the lounge used to be about anyway. Now it seems that it's more about games and spam everywhere. Whenever someone makes a thread about something personal it either gets slammed with "who cares" or how it doesn't belong on the forum. The forum used to be about people coming together and sharing a saturday night far away from each but close and it used to be fun to be silly and having a party..........a cyber party:laugh3: but a party. Now, it seems to be that nobody cares or is interested in making a connection and

how it's boring. It's like a room full of people, looking at each other. They tell the people something and everyone just stares with nothing to say...nothing to say. That's what it feels like in here sometimes.. You gotta make yourself involved.. that's all to it

 

Well said. One of the things I love about this place is that if you've had a bad day, and you post in the What Are You Thinking thread, people ask if you're ok, or what's bothering you. I look at all of you as very real even though we've never met, and I love that we can talk about real things even though most of us are strangers. That's really special. A bunch of strangers made How We See The World! I can't believe how much everyone wanted to pitch in! I don't really mind the silly games...sometimes you need a bit of brain candy after a crappy day. But I'm tired of all the spam. I've started my share of silly threads lately too, but it's all in fun. As long as we keep talking to each other,

October 27th at the Lord Eldon Inn in Knutsford. It had to be in ENgland to coincide with the Oxjam music festival.

YEah. WHatever happened to the nursery? That was a good idea.

 

I've ended up having some really nice convos in the What Are You Thinking thread. Sure it's a little inane, but it's a good way for people to vent without harm. It has its place,imo.

I agree, they are too many game threads. "The next poster" & "Answer the question above you" could be merged together as they basically along the same concept.

 

And why there is 2 "what your listening to now" threads I don't know.
