Saturday's pointless poll

Featured Replies

Yep, I'm bored, but today's pointless poll question is:

What resolution is your monitor set at :laugh3:

I think with Windoze, you have a choice of 5:

(800 by 600

1024 by 768

1152 by 864

1280 by 720

1280 by 1024)

If you don't know how to find out, the easily way is to go to the desktop, right click, properties, Settings.

If you didn't know the resolution is the number of pixels your monitor displays, the higher the number, the sharper the image is. 800 by 600 gives you 480000 unique pixels display, where 1280 by 1024 gives you 1310720, so almost 3 times as much detail.

1024 x 768

I knew I should have put an "other" option on that poll.

Now, how to edit said poll

1280 by 1024. I used to be all about 1152 by 864, but then it wasn't big enough when i had to do work.
