Exclusive Exhausted Chris Travels North For Family Funeral

Featured Replies

Do you think it was a pap? Can't imagine the Scottish ferry scene as being a hot bed of pap activity. I would think it was a fellow traveler/ferry rider that took the pics and sold them to the daily gossip rags.

That's what I'm thinking too. What a bastard.

Poor Chris...

I hope he's doing well and could get over this, though it must be very hard. :(

In the circumstances, I don't think these photos of him sleeping on the deck should have been published, or indeed taken in the first place. ;)

Agree. :)

Exactly. Now not only the real paps could do such thing, even ordinary people would act like paps when they had the opportunity. :\ And sold the pics they took to the media. :dozey:

So who paid the ferryman??

Aw I feel sad for Chris. :( It was good of him to go to such an effort to be there. :)

wonder if this will affect his songwriting... maybe well see it reflected in a song...

I think it's really awful that this type of article gets published. It doesn't really matter whether it was a pap or a regular person took these pictures of him in these circumstances - both are totally inapproriate and either should have known better. The poor guy was asleep, for goodness sake! People really don't have any limits to what they will do to pocket some money and it is really horrible. There is no excuse. I bet Chris IS pissed off that these pictures are in the papers. That day was about his uncle, not him, Gwyneth and the grubby celeb-hunters. Damn people suck!

Now can people understand why Chris sometimes reacts in funny moods with fans and paps who come up to him? This is exactly why... :(

You're spot on. Walking down the road with Apple in his arms is one thing, this is totally another.;)

^ ^ totally right.

 Please kill me.

I will trow up.

Yeah. Chris Martin is very modest and simple guy.

Who has millions, houses, planes and all he wanted all his life.

He is very sad because somebody in his family died so he's crying

himself to sleep. Buu-ooo.

I think all that so people can pay attention on him and take his

pictures.

Very lame. :sneaky:

Well then that passenger became a paparazzi. They all have the same intentions. If you take a photo of a celebrity doing something interesting and sell it to an agency for money...you acted as a paparazzi.

Didn't you know...everyone with a camera on their cell phone is a potential paparazzi. Nothing goes unrecorded these days. A celebrity can pass gas outside a coffee shop and it will be on Youtube the next hour.

If he was coming back from the funeral someone had probably tipped off the press that he would be coming back on the ferry. It's a small island...everyone knows everyone...if a celebrity visits, it's big news.

i completely agree. i actually became semi angry once i saw the photos. damn paparazzi. im glad chris was sleeping in two of those photos so he didnt realize that he was having his picture taken. what a horror: having to go through losing a family member AND having to put up with people taking your picture. i think thats just wrong.

the whole thing is very sad, and im very sorry for chris and his family.

He has a habit of sleeping in weird places. Isn't there a picture of him asleep on the floor of an airport?

Poor guy.

i know which pic youre talking about! stupidly, though, i always thought it was on the london eye, but now that you said that it looks more like an airport.

everything aside, though, chris is adorable when he sleeps.

Yes, normally I would say Chris was "fair game" because of his fame, but even if the person who took the photos didn't realise the circumstances, the newspapers should have refused to publish the pictures. If some discretion were shown at certain times, people might have more respect for the press.;)

Chris was in a vulnerable position for a very good reason on this occasion and this should have been taken into account.

it's when they're at their most vulnerable the press like to get them...

buggers

Agreed. Certain moments should warrant the paparazzi leaving celebs alone, such as an illness or death in the family.

goddamn !

i wish the best to him !!!!!!!!! :'( *snif snif*

People ( the news people, not us fans!) sometimes write things like 'why is millionaire Chris Martin sleeping on the floor?" or etc and they forget one little thing: the guy is a human being too. No one cares to sleep on the floor if you are that tired. After all, you are tired and you won't die for doing it!:) That's just the way life works... you're tired, you see the floor, the floor sees you, you sleep on it:) Specially after a death, you feel more connected to humble things...

Cheers and

Love to all:)

Death comes to us all. I just lost my beloved neighbors (husband and wife) to cancer between February, 2006 and August this year. I cannot begin to grasp what their survivng son must be going through! One is left speechless except to tell him you love him and where you perceive a need, step up to help. So sad.

Chris is very blessed in the things of this life, the only life one can be sure of. These things help to buffer one from so much, but not from these fundamental things of the heart.

My condolences to Chris and to Mr. Fleming's surviving family and friends.

as usual, the nice press are happily snapping away! he's a human being, please, leave him alone, i mean no one see us snapping away afay you've (press) to a funeral. I also doubt Chris would let one of his songs be played at the funeral

Definitely - although not self-inflicted illness such as drug or drink-related problems (e.g. Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse), which is a completely different matter.;)

 Thats the slovakian airport
