alright maybe i sound like a nerd...but whats the best way to study for exams? We have em in a couple of weeks, so if you could tell me whats the best way you'd be a big help.

errm... j-rad anxiety dosnt help ^^ just read through the study notes ect ^^ once u do that ask the teachers what else u should study...... and finally read any thing else that will help u ^^

^ yeah i agree that too

Well i think reading the notes and then writing all the stuff again helps.. You know, when you repeat the same shit 1000 times you will get it at some point :P

So so so true. I just finished my exams today:)!!!:P!!!

Seriously, read and write the stuff you should know heaps.

hi

i have exams in a week too

here's what to do: get enough sleep(it's so important) eat balanced food(concentrate on fresh food fruits vegetables juice whole cereals...) try to go out once in a while to change ideas and get oxygen, start with subjects that you hate or that you find difficult, study for two hours and then have half an hour break in which you do anything you like...

and don't forget to eat chocolate cause it's rich in magnesium which is good for your mood and will help you concentrate but don't eat tons of it!

of course never forget to listen to more coldplay it will cheer you up and help you get through the bad times

good luck

ooh thanks for all the tips guys and girls...i am sure they will help heaps... i have exams for all my subjects: english, math, science, Society and Environment.

do maths excercise yourself and dont just go thru the examples

might sound logical but its a mistake i've made pretty often when i didnt have much time to prepare for an exam

for math, i'd do all the problems again, and look over formulas and notes and stuff like that

for the others just look over notes, and maybe do quizzes over again or something

drink beer, and lots of it. It's good brain food ;)

A few stodgy pies should do the trick too

Study with a good time... I mean it's not really good to study hastily the week or the say before the exam so take a good time for it, then you'll be really relaxed I think.

Oh and if you think you're quite addicted to this forum, other advice: GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE AND CONCENTRATE ON YOUR STUDIES.

GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE AND CONCENTRATE ON YOUR STUDIES.

Easier said than done :freak:

Your coldplaying to studying ratio should at least be 1:1.

One hour of studying, one hour of coldplaying.

I guess so my ratios are about that, we had a math today, didn't do to well i dont reckon. sorry Ian i can't drink beer, i am not 18 yet, not for a couple of years!

Don't do any revision, if you haven't learnt it by now, you sure won't learn it by cramming it into your brain a few days/weeks before the exam.
