i prefer david archuleta....

taste is something very personal...

I'm not a big fan of American Idol but this season I've been watching and David Cook seems so refreshing after so many 'pop-canned-fabricated' artists.

and before anyone has a go at me, I know he is just as much fabricated as the others, but his song choices, style and the way he sings is just soooo fine.

 

not to mention his looks. :nice:

the best bit of that show is the auditions at the start...so u can watch the so very rubbish people thinking theyre amazing.....not being amazing. :D

David Cook's rendition of Lionel Richie's Hello was mind-blowing. He really has an amazing voice, his voice is so raw and hmmm.... He really should win!

^^ I think he should win too!!!! he is sooooo mcuh better and consistent than little annyoing Archuletta.

Yup... David Cook should win. His rendition of Billie Jean was crazy! pure amazing.

 

The Archuletta kid has some good vocals but bores me to death. Can you imagine his concert? i'd fall asleep.

I agree. I think the producers are gearing up for an Archuleta vs. Cook showdown. Like, "Ohhhhh, look. Two guys named David. Competing against one another. Now go vote!" :laugh3:

I would never thought I'd listen to Always Be My Baby dozens of times... but he made it possible.

I just watched (again) the top 4 week performances and I have to admit that Archuletta was pretty amazing.

Cook nailed the 2nd song, but the "little" David brilliantly chose and performed both his songs.

I've been predicting a Cook V Archuleta final for weeks - I think they've been the most consisitent all the way through. David Cook is fantastic: awesome voice, brilliant performer and he seems like a really nice guy too.

 

Can't help think they'll fix it for Archuleta to win though. Remember, last year they gave Blake Lewis lots of opportunities to do his own thing leading up to the final, but then they made him sing that crappy ballad that totally didn't suit him.

 

What's the betting that the winning song is another "inspirational" number aimed at all the little school girls who vote for the puppy dog eyes?

tonight they decide. I was a big Cook fan at first.... but after last night...I hope Archuleta wins it.... he was awesome last night.

I thought they both performed really well yesterday. It was a fight for a finish. But, Archuleta did really well I think for all three songs. I can see his new song being something that I would here on the radio more.

 

I think they both will do well, no matter whoever wins. I think David Cook is really nice and will do well with the rock thing. I thought Cook did U2s with or without your really well. His voice suited that song. Clive really knows how to pick them.

 

I don't know who has more fans though. I guess that is the person that will win.

 

I love Archuleta's rendition of Imagine! It's just beautiful. He was really on it yesterday...just like when he first started at the beginning of the show.
