would you please watch the vid again? and take a close look at gwyneth and only on her? also check out pics of her and chris and how does she look and how does he look? and whenever she looks like she is pissed of by paparazzi taking pics of her would you pleeeease post this pic - for me?

you know, to me she didn't seem a touch of a bit of a glimpse annoyed like chris did. she just got into the car ignoring those idiots, didnt she? i mean dont get me wrong, i am old enough and life made me wise so far plus i can clearly see, that he loves her very much, still.

i really have gotten pissed of by an idiot (or more) many times many years ago and they made me wanting to kill though i am such a nice peaceful person. but you cannot argue with idiots, believe me you cant! you'll always lose that game when you have a teaspoon more of brain in your head. idiots are idiots and should be left alone with their idiots-games.

so this is my best experience: leave such infantil idiots alone to themselves, dont show any reaction and try to forget as fast as possible that people like this exist. this keeps you calm, young and fresh instead of hateful, ugly and sick. trust me.

or did it ever help you when you tried to argue with wankers? (if yes could you please tell me how you did that?)

No, it never helps to argue with such wankers, agreed. I'm just saying that in my opinion, in those pictures Gwyneth does look overwhelmed to see the photographers, and that although Chris overreacted and also acted inappropriately, he acted out of feelings of love and protection towards her. It just seems to me that something bad happened to them; otherwise her publicist would have just said that Gwyneth was in the hospital for a stomach ailment, not "a very personal matter." So, taking all things into consideration, my point is simply that Chris acted like an imperfect human, but it doesn't take a Chris or Coldplay fanatic to see that. What he did was wrong but understandable under the circumstances of being photographed while checking out of a hospital, not out of a restaurant, etc. I think that's why he said "show some respect." It's like being photographed at a funeral or some other personal, emotionally hard experience. There are times these photographers should indeed show some respect and back off--and this time was one of them.

And I agree with the sentiment that the photographers baited Chris on purpose. "Congratulations, Chris" when no one is sure what was going on? Come on. The whole situation just sucks, and I just hope both Chris and Gwyneth are now OK and in the process of putting all this behind them.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. Obviously no one is changing your mind, and you're not changing ours.

You don't know wtf are you talkin about

Well I just read her (cpfan50)'s take on the situation and actually, it seems to makes quite alot of sense for me. I personally voted 'No' on the poll concerning whether Chris should have attacked that guy (given the limit of optional answers), but I can see why someone, anyone would be upset by that comment given the circumstances. Personally I'm on the fence on this one, and I don't think being a Coldplay fan (or not) should really come into deciding whether or not what Chris did was wrong... but thats only my opinion.

And please respect other people's opinions, comments like this one can turn reasonably civilised discussions into a 'personal attacking frenzy', which I'm sure everyone can do without.

AMEN - I was just thinking that exact same thing

"Congratulations, Chris" when no one is sure what was going on? Come on.

sure! i never said that brainless moneyf***er was right. but i just would have ignored him just like gwyn did. surely that poor heartless dogwanker (:laugh3:slowly i got to laugh about my own expressions) wanted to provoke chris and got what he wanted.

and i too hope that both are fine and well, of course i do!

AND i pray that there will be more protection for the privacy of celebs by the governments!!!

i always hoped that things would finally finally change since Diana had to die....:( when do those horrible paps that walk over dead bodies finally get limits?

AND i pray that there will be more protection for the privacy of celebs by the governments!!!

please tell me you are joking

surely that poor heartless dogwanker wanted to provoke chris

surely ?

ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah

Well, I don't think that photographer was there to offer a friendly congratulations. He was there to make a dime. And while I think it would've been better for Chris to just ignore him and get in the car I can see why Chris reacted the way he did.

If the photographer and videographer had just kept their mouths shut there wouldn't be a video of Chris beating down the photog because Chris would've probably just gotten in the car. That is the real reason the guy said congratulations - to get a reaction out of Chris so they'd have something to sell to the gossip rags.

bullshit

bullshit

Wow! You're like a message board paparazzi just trying to provoke all the Coldplay fans! Well done! :laugh3::lol::D

the photographer just said "congratulations" because probably he thought she was pregnant again, damn guys y'all are not open minded

bullshit

Is this your definition of being open minded?

^

thanks for backing me up on this one - this guy/gal is something else - haters need to go visit some other board and leave ours alone

Amen. That's what went so horribly wrong on the Coldplay forum. It's OK to disagree, but there's a point where it's senseless to keep arguing, especially if you can't keep it relatively civil. Why the hate?

Bottom line is that these paparazzi say ridiculous things to celebrities all the time while they're harassing them for photographs. But, if the situation did not warrant congratulations, then the idiots somewhat deserved the reaction they got from Chris in my book, although, yes, it would have been best for Chris to just ignore them. But, the paparazzi certainly aren't innocent and they certainly don't deserve our sympathy! If you're making money by harassing people, sometimes you might get punched/shoved/tripped/sworn at/whatever. I imagine the paparazzi accept that and go about their business anyway because it's worth the $$$ to them.

If you side with Chris, fine, and if you side with the paparazzi, fine. No need to get ugly with each other. It's just an opinion after all, not a life or death matter.

^remember guys, if someone is annoying you or being a jerk, you can always set them to "ignore".

Ahh Dejan, my favorite little buddy. ;)

Erin is right. Ignore is a wonderful feature.

i've never seen some many attempts to justify an "idol"

Personally I dont condemm Chris at all for his actions. It's one thing if there just out and about, but coming out of a hospital, that tends to be a very personal situation. I know Chris isnt meagaly fond of the paparazzi, and who can blame him? I think it was fairly obvious Chris wasnt in the mood when he comes out with the jacket covering his face, so for the twats to ask him stupid question they deserve a good thump.

We all know Coldplay enjoy there job and like to keep there personal life personal. Why dont these idiots go and pester Winehouse and doherty who seem to love the media attention, and stop hassaling a professional man and leave him to his family life. At the end of the day so many people winge about Coldplay being depressing and sounding the same, who would really want to see pictures of him taking a walk with his wife?

Save it for the people who love the attention.

and stop hassaling a professional man and leave him to his family life. .

Oh poor chris,he's a saint now

Is this your definition of being open minded?

well said

Oh poor chris,he's a saint now

Dont know if thats supposed to be sarcastic or patronising, if it is har har

If not i wouldnt go as far as saying he's a saint or he is a god etc, just that he should have been left alone considering he had just come out of a hospital.

are you serious ?

or you are just another chris martin groupie ?

There's ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong in what he said

Well I'm not really a Chris Martin groupie but more of Jonny fan

But there must be something seriously wrong with you if you think that the comment he made wasn't rude or wrong due to the fact that he was coming out from the hospital. Either way he should have just brushed it off but hey everybody snaps one day.
