January 17, 200818 yr i think its probably really different when youre expecting someone to ask you questions and take your photo than when youre just trying to walk down the street or get home after a night in hospital. i mean, they can hardly even go outside without being swarmed, and to me thats just sad. that would piss me off too, all those lowlifes that follow me round just for a single shot that they can then SELL. interviews are consentual and planned, at least the kinds that we see chris acting normal and cute in, and you can like, mentally prepare yourself for the barrage of questions, which are usually more thoughtful than just "OMG are you PREGNANT?" and "why were you in hospital?!" actual reporters and interviewers ask about the MUSIC and their work, which is undoubtedly much more comfortable to talk about then the most personal and private aspects of their private lives which none of us need to know about. i have to admit, though, seeing the video a second time was more shocking :stunned: I remember that Jonathan Ross interview, and he asked Chris if they drive him mad, and he said no. lol Likened it to dealing with roaches in a diner. I guess he doesn't like to complain when he really has so much. But they tick him off-- a lot. :laugh3: I couldn't deal. Did the asshole get his camera back?
January 17, 200818 yr I'm sure it's put an extra few thousand on LP4 sales to compensate for all those EMI fuckups
January 17, 200818 yr though that paparazzi guy was obviously annoying and rude, i'm a bit disappointed that chris martin actually attacked him. i dunno. it's annoying and since i'm not a famous person i might not know what it's like to be followed by cameras all day, but still ... i thought chris wouldn't let them make him that angry. that certainly scared me. :shocked2:
January 17, 200818 yr why the jos of the paparazzis is dammit the life? please! search for another job! poor chris!:(
January 17, 200818 yr I don't care if you're famous or not, if you're coming out of a hospital, and clealy having a rough go of it, people should leave you the f**k alone. I agree, its like the Britney Spears debacle of a couple weeks ago, she clearly isn't mentally well, but of course a million photogs had to be outside her house videotaping her in the ambulance during her breakdown. Its a shame that these paparazzis don't have any respect for people, if they had a mental/medical ailment I'm sure they wouldn't want a ton of people around them to record the whole thing for the world to see. They really do not have any respect for people.:\

January 17, 200818 yr I say good for Chris. The papparazzi ought to expect that by sticking their nose in other peoples' business so much of the time they're going to get tossed around a bit. Should be part of the job. Just because Chris and Gwyneth are celebrities doesn't mean we have access to their lives. Jesus Christ. But yay for Chris!
January 18, 200818 yr These lyrics sum it up the best. "High up above or down below When you're too in love to let it go But if you never try you'll never know Just what you're worth."
January 18, 200818 yr Yer, I'm glad he attacked him. They are so thoughtless and selfish, no respect. That guy who was trying to put the whole guilt thing on him is an fucking asshole (are we allowed to swear on this forum??). Seriously, "you're s'posed to be a father!" - what a load of shit. If that guy had any knowledge or consideration of being a father, he wouldn't be there filming them. Gah, o well. It was still..I duno, slightly funny to see Chris get angry and just see the photographer get owned. :laugh3:
January 18, 200818 yr Goodness... it's a pity Chris didn't have a swing at the cameraman... not that that would have done any good... but still. That's awful. To say congratulations to someone coming out of a hospital. Definitely what set him off. If whatever happened to her was as upsetting as it looks, that would set anyone human off. On any other planet the way those two stalkers were acting would have been heinous. There ought to be a law. Too bad it'll never happen as long as the Paris and Britneys of the world secretly want the attention and tip those creeps off on purpose.
January 18, 200818 yr I think there's definitely a whole lot more behind it then Chris simply being annoyed by paparazzi. I think what really set him off was the "congrats Chris!" comment. I mean, your wife has just been released after spending several days in a hospital dealing with a serious, personal health issue. She and an escort go out to the car while you follow along with her things. As soon as you walk out your fears are realized and two camera-men are standing around the car, taking pictures of and talking to your weak, recovering wife. You're both tired, you're both very stressed yet here are these thoughtless, disrespectful papparazzi knob-heads who couldn't give a damn. Angrily, you go through the usual routine of covering your face hoping they photographers will leave you and your wife alone(they never do). Then right as you're about to walk past him, the photographer wishes you "congratulations Chris!" I mean, what kind of ignorant, idiotic nerve does this guy have! Wishing you congratulations for what? Does he think, you were getting grammy's in there? What kind of scum of the earth idiot would make such a snide comment? Under the circumstances, considering we don't know what scary, shocking, morbid issues Gwyneth was going through, I'd say Chris was being heroically calm.
January 18, 200818 yr That was very shocking; Chris Martin? :o Nice, gentle, vegatarian "bedwetting" Coldplay singer Chris Martin? BUT they deserve it. They should seriously put limits on the paps. Like, they can't go to hospitals, homes, rehab centers, but shopping malls, night clubs, and beaches can be fair game. I mean, the woman is SICK for Christ's sake. Why don't the papparazi get a REAL 9 to 5 and stop harassing people?! :veryangry: *hiss hiss* *EEEEEEDDDDDIIIIIIIT* *ENTERS RANT MODE* I am SO fucking tired of this whole celebrity craze. Who gives a FUCK if Lindsay Lohan is in rehab again?! And it's not ALL that surprising that Spears' sister is pregnant. Basically we give white trash/ghetto people money and put them in a fucking fishbowl and wait for them to implode. I know I'm being biased because I do keep tabs on Coldplay and Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Harry Potter Kids, but I don't need to know every goddamn miniscule thing they do. "Oh wow! Chris Martin was seen buying socks!" I don't CARE. Nothing to do with their music! But if it was "Coldplay were spotted in their new studio finishing LP4!" NOW I care. And I will say again that the paps need a real fucking life. They ARE like roaches at dinner! Who the hell aspires to follow around regular, ho-hum people and film them picking their nose or having a bad hair day?! And don't kid yourself by saying, "Oh Im a real photojournalist" NO YOU ARE NOT. REAL photojournalists capture REAL issues, homelessness, starving people in africa, this bull-shit so-called war in Iraq, All YOU are doing is being a pest! You're just out to make a few fortunate, well-to-do people look bad. It's a goddamn freak show and Im sick of it.
January 18, 200818 yr I don't care if you're famous or not, if you're coming out of a hospital, and clealy having a rough go of it, people should leave you the f**k alone. Go Chris...but yeah, no police records...the tabloids would only make your life worse with those. Now there's going to be more speculating as to whether or not Gwyn's preggers, lol. I hope she's ok. I agree
January 18, 200818 yr The biggest problem with the paps is that they seem to have the empathetic capacity of a thimble. And that's the nicest ones.
January 18, 200818 yr I 100% back Chris on this one, the pap got what was coming to him. A famous human being is still a human being and as a human being they're entitled to a private life. Clearly something serious is going on in thier personal life and it's really no-one's eles's buisness, so why should anyone else have the right to know? Personally I dont want to know what going on with them at the moment and if Chris wants us to stay out of thier life I respect that 100% completely. Unless it's LP4 details of course
January 18, 200818 yr Well, the entire media crazed world is the one to blame for this one. Its a shame so many people over here in America buy tabloid magazines. its amazing. People look down upon this yet many of us buy these magazines. Its terribly ironic. This is the perfect example of exactly why they stay out of the public eye.
January 18, 200818 yr Stupid paps...although, it's kinda funny becuase Chris wasn't in complete rampage, he was just really ticked. He handled the thing really calmly though, unlikle some other celebs... Poor Gwyn...I hope sh'es ook
January 18, 200818 yr argh, every time i think of this it just makes me want to kill all paparazzi. i thought i was annoyed by them when they stalked and bothered other celebs, even ones that want the ridiculous attention (*ahem* britney), but when they bother ones that a) dont want any part of their ridiculousness, b) that i really like and respect, and c) that are obviously unwell and stressed and are just trying to get home...ohhh, i get so mad. i think the guy got his camera back, though. i suppose thats a good thing, since that could probably cause a real stink for chris, considering its personal property and quite expensive. besides, i dont think those guys would have backed off if he didnt give it back. i bet chris is taking all this pretty hard, too, knowing him...
January 18, 200818 yr Yeah, I don't think Chris will be too proud of that, even if we sorta are :P! Honestly though, you gotta put yourself in his shoes...which is something those idiot paps can't seem to be able to do!
January 18, 200818 yr i heard 'have some respect' and 'you're supposed to be a father'.. but im not pretty sure... i watched the video on youtube and just now the video appeared in E! ... they said that chris has did the same thing in australia a few years ago... and also about the cashier... i dunno anything bout these...
January 18, 200818 yr Hey! You guys actually found the vid! Good job! I was just very shocked to see that video btw, they didn't show the last part of it where the guy says to Chris he's supposed to be a father and the rest of the stuff so it looked very aggressive. I hadn't seen anything of Chris for months to suddenly see that got me worried. Hope everything's okay with Gwyneth.
