I hate that uglypeople.com site...its nasty. It seriously depresses me. And it is scary that there are people like that in the world. If I don't have to see them, I won't...hehe.

We were already bad enough to have the less serious "Post Pictures of People you find Unattractive" but this Ugly People post is just blatantly ridiculous. I know Angela thinks she's Miss spicey superhot but nobody has the right to make threads as obviously fucked up as this.

If I told you a totally racist and offensive joke, it doesnt matter how bad or "funny" you find it its still a racist and offensive joke.

This would be true if everyone thought the same, but again, the point is, they don't...it's subjective...there are some people in this world who find racism funny...thank god the vast majority don't...but in my opinion and others (not yours) Uglypeople.com is harmless, it's a bit of fun. We don't take everything so seriously as some. If you don't like the thread, don't look after you worked out what it was about (the first picture gives it away), and don't post to keep it near the top of a thread and in view.

 

It boils down to freedom of expression, and no way will what I want to find funny be dictated by someone else.

Andrew, but the point of a thread is to seek people's opinions...NOT just for everyone to agree with the poster...in my opinion i think its wrong..but apparently not in angela's ...now, l cannot hold anything against her, because thats her sense of humour...but people should be able to post in here...afterall this thread was posted...and she did it hopefully knowing that everyone has their own opinion...

 

now, do l like contraversy? NO...but...l along with others have a right to speak up...l agree that this site is 'silly' to SOME...but to me...l was deeply offended, in my highschool l was in a program assisting the mentally disabled and those who LOOKED physically unstable...and well, it brought tears to my eyes...just looking at them, and those photos of the people on that site..well they reminded me of those children..yes...SOME DO have disabilities...so...l guess what we lack here is sensitivity but also..experience WITH individuals of this sort....

 

also....i find it quite SARCASTICALLY humourous...that people who could post this...well they must think quite opposite of the individuals on this site..and..well..if so...its not the BEST idea to make it obvious..because...HOW DO YOU KNOW there aren't any individuals who look like this on the board??? how do you know? you didn't just make someone feel terrible? you never know...so its always wise to watch what you say... because l am quite self concious of myself...SO...hmm what does that make someone who laughs at this?? the almighty miss/mr universe???
