January 22, 200818 yr the bridge is just the 4th fret on the b-string sliding down to the 11th and back. after doing that three times to move up to the 3rd fret. repeat. I'm pretty sure he just plays it with the open e-string.

January 23, 200818 yr Meh, just playing the solo part isn't that fun. Here's how I play it while incorporating the solo with the chords. Standard Tuning - Capo 3 intro and verses: C, Em, Am7, C/G Chorus: (sorry, won't space right for me) F Em G Gsus4 G Lights will gu --- ---ide you home Instrumental: Same as intro, but hit bass notes C,B,A,G. Don't strum the chords, you have to pick them. Just whatever sounds right. Last part: "Tears stream...." C, F, C, C/G You can hammer your pinky on the C and F chord on the 3rd fret on the high e string to simulate the high note of the "solo". Just have to time it right. Fast strokes on the chord will make it sound like the solo. Chords: c - x32010 F - 133211 G - 320001 Gsus4 - 330001 c/G - 320013 Em - 022000 Am7 - x02010

January 25, 200818 yr huh...At live 8 it looked more like the e-string was frets 12 and 11 instead of 11 and 10. The book as solo as 5/12 because the guitar is tuned down. but they only do that because they're showing the detuned organ at the same time. live I'm pretty jonny uses standard tuning and goes 4 to 11.
