February 7, 200818 yr heh, i do too, but if i see a mistake like that in my post, i usually either correct it while i'm typing or edit the post. i'm just a geek like that. when i'm really tired, i type words that i don't mean to type, usually ones that have nothing to do with the word that i want to say. one time i was typing an essay late at night and when i looked at the screen, the last line i typed read "MUST TAKE OVER." it was actually kinda freaky :laugh4:
February 7, 200818 yr Author I usually correct words since Firefox has an auto correct thingy.....but when it comes to the word the I just don't really care haha
February 7, 200818 yr i liked that firefox has the correcty thingy, but i can't get it to work properly on my computer. more than spelling words wrong, i just generally leave out apostrophes (most of the time) and am too lazy to go back and fix them. and i never capitalize i.
February 8, 200818 yr I have trouble with words like Renaissance (words I don't often spell, and have silent parts), and trying to guess whether or not to double the consonant when adding a suffix (like funnel and funneling). I almost always guess wrong, since they almost always break the rule (unless they're simple). What's wrong with funnelling anyways!:P (takes all the fun out of it!)
February 8, 200818 yr I always do that. I always spell things wrong, and my computer is slow, so while the edit thing is struggling to open, I start getting nervous that somebody will see my dumb spelling error. I'm just a perfectionist of the super freaky kind.
February 8, 200818 yr happened to me quite often. i'm surprised i can spell correctly at the minute because i'm quite drunk. and its half four in england so i'd better go to sleep.
February 8, 200818 yr i often spell "change" as "chance" and vice versa.. i have no idea why! And i make typos all the time when i type fast and don't have time to think, bah. And i leave important (and sometimes less important) words out when i type faast! I guess my fingers just can't type everything as fast as my brain works :wacky: I always do that. I always spell things wrong, and my computer is slow, so while the edit thing is struggling to open, I start getting nervous that somebody will see my dumb spelling error. I'm just a perfectionist of the super freaky kind. yeah that's a terrible feeling!
February 8, 200818 yr i dont know. sometimes i write everything (well, i try) correctly according to english grammar, but sometimes like now im not really bothered. but.... i started making mistakes with adverbs ... some of you have probably seen that pic thom made and wrote seriouslee and now i sometimes want to write seriouslee or reallee because of that. :dozey: oh and not to mention typos when i hit the enter key ... usually it looks like this (while talking with someone on msn): so, whats up?ž it annoys me.
February 8, 200818 yr I never shorten anything, my phone bill is massive because my messages are typed out in full, correct English  Is silly really.
February 8, 200818 yr 175 letters in a minute Right, actually you measure it in words per minute. I type thsi fast. Seriously? :dozey:
February 8, 200818 yr I never shorten anything, my phone bill is massive because my messages are typed out in full, correct English  Is silly really. Do you not have text plans or something, over here we have a plan called TXT2000..where you get 2000 texts for 10 dollars.
February 9, 200818 yr Right, actually you measure it in words per minute. Oh yeah, rick? I don't know that.. But, what happen if you just typed longer words? Don't you think it's 'unfair'??? :D
February 9, 200818 yr ^No I'm pretty sure there's some averaging system.... in school we used to do this program called "Type To Learn" and it would always give you your words per minute (wpm). . i think I had 100-120 or something.
February 10, 200818 yr Oh yeah, rick? I don't know that.. But, what happen if you just typed longer words? Don't you think it's 'unfair'??? :D False, the measurement used for this is wpm.
