Earthquakes used to scare the hell outta me when i was a kid, i would cry for hrs! :bigcry:

I was lying in bed and i felt my bed wibble and i thought to myself ''oh the shabbyness of uni beds

 

i didn't find out until morning that what i thought was just a dodgy bed was in fact an amazing earthquake

I hear they are starting the aid tomorrow, food rations etc.

THe reports today here say it was a %.2, and there were only a few injuries. It's a shame about the old buildings being restored that got damaged though.

wasnt too bad. my bed was moving for a few seconds which was rather scary. i was still awake and so were a few of the other people i live with. i went downstairs when i heard them chatting and one girl seriously thought the house was breaking. [wouldnt be that surprising given the state its in] but it was all good. we all went to sleep and that was it.

No aftershocks at all. I missed all the fun :rolleyes:

Pffft, you didn't miss much, not up here at least, was only akin to an obese neighbour jumping on a trampoline in her bedroom
