Oh yeah that would be rather scary!

I was sitting on my bed on my laptop...then my bed violently shook....I was like what the HELL!?!??! and glasses on my tables tinkered and my door shook.

I ran downstairs to my flatmates who were watching tv, and said....'was it just me or did the house just shake" and they looked at me like i was crazy and said no!!!!

I thought I was going mad. but I knew it had happened!!!!

then the news started to come on, and my flatmate was pissed off he hadnt been able to feel it...hehe.

Im in Buckinghamshire by the way, north west of London.

The link is bollocks

It was bigger than that

There's already a thread with 435 replies on Muse.mu... :laugh3:

We had a 6.5 over here, and it caused millions of dollars worth of damage!!

That's because the mint sprang a leak, and all the Marks ran out!:laugh3:

Oh dear.....

how did it lasted?... may be it took a fault and that's why it was felt in all those places...

but really that it happens in UK is so strange :uhoh:

everybody's ok? any more news about it? what does experts say about it?

we had one that broke some houses it was 4.2 i think and lasted 30 secs or so i think, and it was felt all around my area (i was doing my homework and the table and chair moved lol) and in many places of my country (as i remember in my area we have had like 3 or 4 earthquakes since i remember, in like 10 years), even in Madrid.

we are used to have earthquakes i think we live in one of the most seismic active areas of the country and europe...

I heard about this on the news.. I'm glad it wasn't a huge one!

Whoa!hope you're ok mimi doo

But i so know what you mean, last year there was a massive earthquake here 7.9 i think and destroyed a whole town in the south and i was really sure i was a goner , a wall in my room cracked in half :uhoh:

I hate earthquakes :bigcry:

Me too :bigcry:

Replicas? what are those :uhoh:?

I'm a lucky girl and have never experienced an earthquake or anything else extreme

hope everyone is ok.... thoughts are with you all my British mates!!!

Replicas? what are those :uhoh:?

I'm a lucky girl and have never experienced an earthquake or anything else extreme

Those are several eartquakes similar to the original but not as strong, usually happens after a huge earthquake, we had like 70 replicas after the big earthquake here :bigcry:

I was lying in bed and i felt my bed wibble and i thought to myself ''oh the shabbyness of uni beds

i didn't find out until morning that what i thought was just a dodgy bed was in fact an amazing earthquake

Those are several eartquakes similar to the original but not as strong, usually happens after a huge earthquake, we had like 70 replicas after the big earthquake here :bigcry:
