and i'm DEFINITELY the same way, though i don't have the CP-ing toolbar (would be made fun of at uni...i hate that i'm so embarrassed by my obsessive love of coldplay) and for some reason i check coldplaying twice as often as i check the official site, even though i also harbor a bit of a desire to be the first one to find THE post. though i don't really care about that at all compared to how much i care about the Information!

 

i really must check the official site more often, though. when i check for Information between classes, i always come straight here! when i see the NEW STARS ON COLDPLAY.COM thread in bold, my heart flips, but then i realize that if it was THE post, there would be several other new threads accompanying it.

Seriously though, it must suck not to have freedom of obsession, because you're living with someone else. Luckily for me we all have our seperate bedrooms, so the privacy is quite good. Of course, I do blast some Coldplay quite loud every once in a while, but then again one of the girls upstairs is always playing Radiohead at top volume, so no one can complain really.

 

About the NEW STARS thread being bold, yeah I'm the same. But I've learned not to get too excited about that these days. Its too painful :laugh1:

i'm just happy that if the mid-may release predictions are true, i'll already be home by then and can sufficiently celebrate the release then. and also have enough time to enjoy the album without having to balance new-album-time with schoolwork!

but i'm still crossing my fingers for a single room next year, even if i won't really need to hide my coldplay-squeeing anymore, seeing as the album BETTER be out by september...

^I'm pretty sure it'll be out by then. Although this time last year we were all predicting a Christmas release (well most of us were, anyway).

If I'm honest, I'd probably rather be here at uni when the album comes out. Why? Mostly because of one of my brothers. Theres nothing worse than a sibling that takes the piss out of you're coldplay obsession, and he would probably keep interupting my first LP4 session 'just to annoy me' as he says. He also keeps saying LP4 will be crap every single time i start talking about it, which annoys the hell out of me. He also thinks I'm a coldplay wannabe because I bought a keyboard recently. I think you can start to see why I'm not too keen to go back home.

 

Anyway rant over (for now), but no matter where I am when its released, you can bet i'll be completely detached from the world for 42 minutes.
