Am I the only one who refreshes Coldplay.com every five minutes...

is it superficial that i'm just about equally pumped for the album art and music videos as i am for the music itself? well, i suppose not, considering i'm majoring in film, so i have a bit of a connection with the music video part of it...

Theres nothing worse than a sibling that takes the piss out of you're coldplay obsession, and he would probably keep interupting my first LP4 session 'just to annoy me' as he says. He also keeps saying LP4 will be crap every single time i start talking about it, which annoys the hell out of me. He also thinks I'm a coldplay wannabe because I bought a keyboard recently. I think you can start to see why I'm not too keen to go back home.

my brother is a closet coldplay-lover. he doesn't even like to admit it to me, but his big secret is that he actually likes them. i'm kind of hoping this album completely wins him over. and the reason i don't want to have it released while i'm here is that i'd be sitting on my bed absoultely absorbed in the music and my roommate would be like "um, it's just an album...." i'd actually probably escape to the east asian room in the library to listen to it, but it's still too public for my liking...

Exactly, I hope this album wins my brother over aswell. Although I should really avoid doing so because if it doesn't, I'll never hear the end of it. I think he's started to take interest though, since i told him that there's a "straight up rock tune" on the album and that most of the songs are "rougher round the edges", since he's into the heavier side of rock (and i'm not really). So I could be halfway there.

Yes it would be awkward having another person in the room at the time, its a shame really. But if you're quite sure you'll be home by may, then I dont think theres anything to worry about ;)

And I'm pumped for the album art and videos aswell. Personally I want to see a really abstract video from them, something artsy. Either way, probably gonna be the best summer ever.

Phew, I always thought I was the only one :P

Yeah, I keep on forgettting about the amazing album art coldplay will introduce this time around. Based on their first few albums, they have really good taste (especially with AROBTTH) and considering how interesting and/or trippy this new album is gonna be...I'm extremely curious what the album cover is going to look like.

Same here. I cant wait!!!Seriousy i really need a release date so soon. Im not much of a closet fan, but im not reslly talking about them none stop to my freinds so mabye i am. If my freind asked me my music taste i would say Coldplay, im not ashamed. My mates all know i like Coldplay.

there's nohing to be ashamed of ! i dont talk about Coldplay that much with my friends either... I wish I did though.. I'd love to have long conversations about their music, or just coldplay gossip!

and I didnt use to refreshing it every five minutes. But now that I read that post I do -_-''

(And thanks go to Ian for the Coldplaying toolbar thingy, really useful. ;))
I didn't see that post, glad you enjoy it! :D

Hell, I wish this album wins EVERYONE over, and put those haters to shame. :smug:

Well, they don't have to really like it, as long as they are able to respect Coldplay. :)

succumbed and downloaded the coldplaying toolbar :D i quite like it; i'll just hide it when a friend's borrowing my computer or i'm in public or something. it's pretty great, ian.

it's not that i'm a closet CP fan, because i'm not ashamed in the least that i like them. it's just that the people i know don't understand my love and obsession over them, so i feel like it's pointless to explain it. and i'd be considered a loser if most people knew JUST how obsessed i was...i'd rather be considered a huge fan than a rabid maniac. so i have posters on my walls and wear the t-shirts and listen to the music all the time, but idon't go on and on about them to people that don't care, and i don't make the fact that i'm a complusive and active member of an online coldplay forum too public, either :D
